Thank you for spending so much time on their temperament. Much damage can be done to them so easily. We had several who never showed a sign of aggression until needed. Then they responded as necessary. Surprised us!

I found one in a pound in Tipton County in Tennessee that had two days left before she was going to be euthanized I didn't know what an Anatolian Shepherd was Hands down the best decision She lived to be 13. She roamed free on 10 acres with the family of 11 people three wiener dogs two cats and a chameleon. She did have a couple incidents where she bit someone. She was not ever wrong. BEST DOGGO EVER🏆🥰

We have a 5 month old female Anatolian/Maremma mix. Breeder said made for milder disposition with less desire to roam and a little smaller. So far she has been a very good dog, fairly easy to train. She listens good if she wants too! She seems imune to small spankings and such so i got a remote control vibration collar. So far she has responded very well using it and the tone generator with treats as a reward.

In this clip there are at least 2 varieties of distinct Turkish shepherd breeds. Namely the Sivas Kangal and the Boz shepherd.
