If your over 60 wear what you like
I love the look of the puffer coat with a chunky turtleneck sweater with leggings & short boots 😊
Straight shapes can lessen the big buddies i think
But I hate large prints!
I will be 76 next week and still colour my “natural red hair” red! So I am still able to wear the colours I have always worn, but I do appreciate the suggestions to perhaps trying just “different shades “of these colours! Thank you for this video! Cheers 🎄🎉👩🏻🦰🇨🇦
Some thing nobody flatters, like fluo, even kids are ugly in big prints and fluo.
Where did they find all these unattractive clothes? Nothing modern in this video....
So beautiful..magical!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so glad you found it magical. Your encouragement means a lot! 💖✨
These are all geared towards Northern European women with fair skin and warm undertones. Even when I was young and had a lot of red highlights in my dark brown hair, I couldn't wear beige or most neutrals because I have olive skin that's not that dark but definitely cool undertones. I still look good in vibrant colors like emerald green and red and get many compliments when I wear them. I've let my hair go naturally silver. My natural lip color is more puce than rosy. My lips have faded at 78 but I wear a lip color that is in the same family as my natural color with a bit more depth. If I need a little color, I use a bronzer, not a red toned blush.
Thank you for sharing your unique perspective and experience! It's wonderful to hear how you've embraced vibrant colors and adapted your style beautifully over the years. Your tips, like choosing a bronzer over a red-toned blush, are so thoughtful and inspiring! Sending you lots of love and admiration for your journey. 💐❤️
Ma nemoj mi kazati😅, svakakve gluposti se usuđuju plasirati🎉
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We appreciate your perspective and are always looking for ways to improve and make content that resonates with everyone. Sending warm wishes your way! 🎉😊
❤any color of me Thank you so much 😊
❤️ You're absolutely right-any color that makes you feel confident is the perfect one for you! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. 😊
Hear is a don’t. Don’t care what anyone is telling you not to wear not to do. Be yourself.
Thank you for your empowering words! It’s so important to embrace who we are and wear what makes us happy. You are so right-being yourself is always the best choice. 🌟
Prints are not a big deal for aging women. What I think is sad if plunging cleavages and short shorts. No one wants to see that anymore. Just stop. I’m 70.
One thing which struck me is how fat the model looked in some outfits, while in others trim, slim and well put together. Ditch the huge gaudy motifs: maybe if you have South American heritage it could pass - at a pinch.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It's always interesting to see how different styles and prints can create varied impressions. 💕
I would like to know where the clothes that these ladies wear are purchased. They are beautiful!
The title should be “For White Women over 60”.
Love it.thanks
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Your support means a lot! 💖✨
No, not trying to please people, but yes, trying to still look good! Also, I tend to feel happy when know I look good. I, sady think, that comments like "wear what you like over 60", often indicate the person has given up. Why should being over 60 (I am 70) mean not bothering any more? You are at different age (as you've always been), not dead!
I love your attitude! Staying confident and feeling good about how you look is so empowering, no matter the age. Thank you for sharing such an inspiring perspective! 💪💃
I agree with her
Thank you for agreeing! It's great to see how these tips resonate with so many amazing women. 💕
If I like the color, I wear the color, it is about pleasing my eyes, not yours.
Absolutely! The most important thing is wearing what makes you feel happy and confident. Your personal style is what truly shines. 🌟💖
Seriously no, at 67 I wear what I please, to please no other than my eyes. Clothing is all about me.
Absolutely, the most important thing is feeling confident and dressing for yourself! Your style is yours to own, and that's what makes it so special. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 🌟💖
The big poka dots look ridiculous! It looks like a pitching target practice board. 😂
Haha, thank you for your honesty! Bold prints like big polka dots aren’t for everyone, but they can definitely be a fun statement when styled right. Appreciate your sense of humor! 😊🎯
@FashionAndBeauty60 I appreciate your open mindedness. Happy Holidays!
At age 73 and still married, I will just dress neat and comfortable. I am plus size as well.
That’s such a wonderful approach-dressing in a way that’s neat and comfortable is always timeless. Plus, confidence and comfort are key at any size. Thank you for sharing your perspective! 💖✨
Some of these colors like black and blush pink you said were a no no for women over 60 in another video. Why is it ok for petite older women to wear but not other older women? Very contradictory. I do like the suggestions and out fits.
Thank you for catching that! You're right, in one context, we mentioned avoiding certain shades like matte black because they can feel heavy, but in this video, black is suggested for petite women because it helps elongate the silhouette. Styling tips can vary depending on the focus of the video, but I really appreciate your observation-it helps us be more consistent. 😊 Glad you liked the outfits too! 💖
I think you should mention that the wearer's height might also be a factor in what prints work or don't. Your models seem quite tall. Most models are tall, but most women are not
Great video. You're absolutely right. I see the wrong prints as the 'pattern wearing the woman' instead of the woman wearing the pattern.
The photos need to match the dialog. Otherwise a good video.
Spot on!
Wear and let wear, I dress for me 👢👖👕👒👗👠
I look awful in any shade of beige.
Thank you for sharing! Beige can indeed be tricky, and not every shade works for everyone. It's all about finding what makes you feel and look your best. 😊
I don’t agree. It all depends if a woman has warm or cool coloring. Bright pink looks harsh on a lot of women but a bright Coral cld work for women who have golden skin tones. Pastels wash out a lot of women- mint green , lavender - ugh!!! This advice is so general and cannot be applied to anyone.
Thank you for your perspective! You’re absolutely right-undertones and personal coloring make a big difference in how colors work for each person. We aim to provide general tips, but personal preferences and styles always come first. 💖
To look elegant at this age is to wear more simple neutral solid color, no more than wearing 3 colors at the time. So people will be attracted by your natural aura instead your clothes😊
Such great advice-thank you for sharing! Simplicity and balance are definitely key to creating elegant looks that let your natural beauty shine. 🌟
Where are the gray and white haired models ? The short , the chunky ?
Thank you for your feedback! Inclusivity is so important, and we’ll keep working to feature a wider range of styles and models in future content. 💕
In the Eighties a book entitled, "Color Me Beautiful", was a popular book, highlighting color pallets for women to wear based upon their skin tone, and both their hair and eye color. This book incorporated recommendations for both youth and the aging populous. There existed four color pallets that were named after the four seasons. Cool color tones were either Winter or Summers. Winter Pallets included true, deep, and vibrant colors like black, white, red, royal blue, violets and magenta. No yellow, brown, or orange tones were to be worn. My sister is a Winter, and my father was a Winter. His gray hair was true white, and while he was graying, he was a salt and pepper. Summers were recommended to wear pastels, such as pink, lavender, light blue, but absolutely no warm color hues. Autumn and Springs are warmer toned complexions. I am an Autum, and I can still wear olive greens, chartreuse, any shade of brown, oranges, scarlet, mustards, ivory, beige, and navy blue. I can not wear pink nor any pastels. They wash me out. Springs are able to wear warm tones that are not as bold as the autumn hues. My mother is a Spring. Her gray hair possesses warm undertones. And, it is mottled with washed out browns. She can not wear black, white, true red, true blues, or violets, nor pastels. These colors immensly age her. When she wears periwinkle, spring green, or a cadet blue, she looks like she is in her late Seventies. She will turn ninety in May. What I am trying to say is that age and the health of our skin, may play a part in the color hues that we should and should not adorn close to our faces, but I truly believe that our Natural Color Pallet based upon our skin tone, hair color, and eye color, has ALWAYS played a major role, regarding which colors with which we should choose to adorn ourselves and wear. We should have, NEVER, worn colors not included in our Season Color Pallet. And, perhaps, as we age, we should discard some of the colors that no longer work for us, that ARE on our Color Pallet. Invest and choose wisely ladies.
Yes. I think I still have that book somewhere. And truly I am a winter as pastels and orange really wash me out but I look good in black
I go with classic, sometimes a great color, but I don't look like these women. I don't look that old. I have always worn the clothes, they don't wear me. I don't think giant polka dots do for any age, nor do I think only neutrals are necessary. I look great in red dress. Classics with a little twist look good. The important thing is not to wear clothes that don't fit or look like you've poured yourself into something that's a size too small. You can have an accessory that's a bit trendy, but not one an 16 year old would wear. Accent your positives, not your not so positives. If you want to wear something with a smaller pattern, it's better than a giant one. Don't bother with what the stores dub old lady stuff. Wear that small pattern in a flattering fit and ad a neutral accessory. Wear the clothes, don't be a mannequin for some trend.
Never lrg pota dots
Exactly , we don't dress like Minnie mouse !
I will wear any color I want.
i always wear bright colours, tourquise blue, orange, purple, bright greens, etc
I noticed that many here wearing sweaters seem to make these women appear old(er)and gives a sloppy look. It would be nice to have something else besides a sweater without it be a blazer or jacket (too hot). Maybe a short komono type cover-up?
Stay away from polkadots and those pearl necklaces period if you are over 50, they shout OLD! I'm 60, wearing neutral solids and monochromatic look highly sophisticated and timeless!
Pearl earrings and necklaces are always in style and always elegant and sophisticated .If you’re not interested in elegance don’t wear them .
I always preferred solids, they don't compete with your face.
Such a great point! Solid colors really let your natural beauty and facial features shine. Thank you for sharing your preference! 😊
I have never looked good in black.
Thank you for sharing! Black doesn’t work for everyone, and it’s all about finding the colors that make you feel your best. 😊
I like the abstract. Whatever floats your boat.
Absolutely! Fashion is all about expressing yourself and wearing what makes you happy. Thank you for your input! 💕
Rather convincing, thanks!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you found it convincing and helpful. Your support means a lot! 💖
I say skip the stripes. Neutral solid colors are more classic - in my humble opinion.
Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion! Neutral solids are definitely timeless and so versatile. Great point! 😊
If it is clean , it’s good enough 😂
Haha, you’re so right! Sometimes simplicity is all we need!
Form fitting😊
Absolutely! Form-fitting styles can be so flattering and chic. Thank you for sharing! 😊
I like to wear solid colored tops that are from fitting. No baggy
I wear neutral pants (navy, camel gray), thus mix and match tops. I don't dress up or go where it is required.
That’s a great choice! Solid and form-fitting pieces really highlight your silhouette beautifully. Thank you for your input! 😊
