Can you show how to seal to the floor? I have a traditional wood stud frame with subfloor made of individual boards not sheet goods.

Would this be one of a useful option to seal the bottom, top, and sides of an open window and a window insert? I am trying to make my elderly neighbour's window-insert bird feeder less drafty during the cold Canadian winters. She only uses it in the colder temperatures and lets the birds forage in the warmer weather. The insert has adjustable horizontal pieces to make the bird feeder fit your window, and then you push the double hung down onto the top of the feeder. Right now, I just have a 1.5 cm, hollow, foam weatherstripping going all around where the bird feeder and window meet (squishing together when the window is secured down on top of the feeder, for example), as well as along the inside of the surfaces patching the joints for any places where they do not fit fully flush. But it looks awful and it's not the right tool.

As soon as you fix your plasterboard to the ceiling your membrane will be pierced, so I don't see the point of struggling with the tape; unless the tap has the ability to ceil around the nails / screws.

and Sicrall is more suitable for overlaps than Rissan because of the higher adhesive strength, correct?
