Is Durres any cooler in the summertime? I have heard Tirana hits 100 Fahrenheit for weeks on end in July/August. What about ocean temperature? (I guess they call it the sea, not the ocean.) Most of the year I guess it is too cold to swim. Maybe with a wetsuit?
It's such a beautiful tour my friend. Lovely day to enjoy the weather and stunning views. Thank you for sharing.

Durning the German occupation the city was called Bromberg. 1:28 - we see - mBank headquarters in Bydgoszcz - a complex of buildings belonging to mBank (formerly BRE Bank) in Bydgoszcz. They are called "new granaries" or "glass granaries". Opposite these granaries there is the main post office building. The existence of royal post offices in Bydgoszcz dates back to the first half of the 18th century. 1:45 - There is an anecdote connected with the sculpture, which goes as follows: the monument was unveiled in difficult times, when there was only vinegar on the shelves in stores. Three women came out of nearby tenement houses to think together about what to prepare for dinner for their family that day. And in such sad poses they froze until today - a monument by Jerzy Buczkowski - one of many, although the most famous for Bydgoszcz residents is Luczniczka (naked archer). 1:50 Originally, the Granaries were a complex of five half-timbered buildings, dating back to the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, and served as grain warehouses. The granaries, located on the banks of the Brda River, in the very centre of the city, were key facilities for servicing the port. The grain stored here was reloaded onto barges and transported to Gdańsk. The prosperity of Bydgoszcz depended, among other things, on the abundance of the granaries and the grain trade. In February 1960, the two granaries burned down in a huge fire. After the necessary adaptation works were completed in 1964, two granaries, no. 9 and 11, were designated for museum and exhibition purposes, and the third one (no. 7) housed the seat of the Provincial Conservator of Monuments 6:30 monument to the murdered inhabitants of the city. The Germans began their actions right after September 5, when they occupied the city. 350-400 people were shot in public executions. The most spectacular crime took place in the Bydgoszcz market square on September 9 and 10. In the following months, in the so-called Valley of Death in Fordon near Bydgoszcz, about 1,500 people were murdered. Bydgoszcz crosses the 18th meridian of the eastern longitude (E). It passes almost through the middle of the Old Market Square and connects Bydgoszcz with Stockholm (Sweden) and Cape Town (South Africa). Its course is marked on the market square with a brass stripe 8:29 - This place is called Bydgoszcz Venice - The history of Bydgoszcz Venice began in the 19th century. At the beginning of the century, there were single buildings on the steep bank of the river. Over time, tenement houses, workshops and plants began to be built on the Brda embankment. The main advantage of this location was easy access to the water and the location in the city center. Initially, the areas located directly on the river were used as gardens, later they began to be built up. 8:48 on your left - The Bydgoszcz Beer Brewery contains everything that is best in Divine Venice. You will find a beautiful building and interior, fabulous views, beer brewed on site, and delicious food. Within its walls there is also the Beer Museum, where you can learn about the more recent and more distant history of Bydgoszcz brewing. The Brewery itself also creates a piece of Bydgoszcz history. It has been operating on the bank of the Młynówka since 2011, and has witnessed the rebirth and flourishing of Bydgoszcz Venice in its current form.
Do you ever feel like you shouldn’t be somewhere going through those corridors??!! 😬
The views!
Lovely!
I'm glad that someone finally visited my hometown. Most people who go to Poland head towards Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw or Gdansk. I can add a little commentary on what you recorded ;) Greetings from Edinburgh
Those are all great cities to visit! (Edinburgh too😀) Bydgoszcz is certainly on my list of top cities in Poland-loved it!
