I think you're right. I'm leaning towards Oscar because it seems to me that China and Japan have always had strained relations. Loro Park and Mundo Marino have also not closed the breeding program. Although unfortunately there is only deaf Morgan in Loro and I doubt that she will be able to raise a healthy calf, even with such a gentle friend as Keto. However, I am pleased that the rest of the marine parks continue to breed, and we are seeing great success in China. I also hope that Naya will have offspring soon.

@@ibrahimsultanov7355 I hope Naya will too. She is left alone there without another orca companions. Maybe Moskvarium will artificially inseminate her or transfer her which would be the best option for her. She birthed her first baby alone and it took over 10 hours. It's sad that Sea World Parks in the USA ended their orca breeding programs. That's all thanks to the anti caps including PETA and the film Blackfish. Blackfish should be banned and Sea World should petition to bring back their breeding program. They have many males that could provide a great genetic diversity.

@@Starbright-385The Moskvarium promised that Naya would not be left alone. I think we can only talk about artificial insemination. In my opinion, her labor took about 8 hours, but maybe ten. However, she was able to successfully give birth and start feeding the baby. Unfortunately, in SeaWorld, almost all males are Tilikum's sons and grandchildren, it's hardly a good idea.

The kindred will probably kill Ulises very quickly. In nature, he will not find such a kind matriarch as Corky, and with his dominant character, he will not take root in any pack. He won't even be able to return to his mother, because Icelandic killer whales expel adult sons.

Yeah I haven’t seen him do this in a while. Adults will do this as a form of bonding though

Keiko would have protected her. Despite his tenderness, he seemed to have a strong character. Killer whales usually attack intruders, but even wild killer whales have never attacked Keiko, although he himself has never shown aggression.

@@amandae8437 I agree. Keiko should have been sent to Sea World San Diego. They could've rehabilitated him and heloed him heal. Keiko could've also had the opportunity to breed with the females too. Sadly, Sea World declined him due to his skin rash he had.

@@ibrahimsultanov7355 Not sure if that is true. Sea World often groups Orchid with her best buddies Kalia and Shouka. It might rather have something to do with the way Sea World California is grouping their orcas. If that's the case, Orchid isn't frequently grouped with Corky anymore. Corky is mostly grouped with the males Ikaika, Keet, and Makani too. Ulises is the only male that can't be grouped with Corky because he's aggressive towards her and rakes her really hard.

@@Starbright-385 I really hope so. Otherwise, too sorry for Corky. I wonder if Ulises should be separated from other killer whales. I think being captured in early childhood and living among small dolphins for many years made his character abnormal, he is too dominant a male.

This is true and has been for years. Corky gets along much better with the males because she is the least dominant female. Ulises gets along fine with the other orcas.

I know! Kalia definitely thought it was her birthday

As far as I know, Corky can't be in the same pool as Kalia anymore :(

Corky and Orkid are also not close anymore. They are rarely together if at all.

How big is the whale of this SeaWorld then ? I only know that Tyson at Chimelong Spaceship in China is the largest orca ever kept in captivity. He weigts 5,8 tonnes and is 7,3m long, larger than Tilikum.

@@raptorblack2269 Orkid here is the second largest female orca in captivity at 19 feet long and 7,600+ pounds. Corky ll however, is the largest female orca in captivity being 19.7 feet long and 8,400 pounds. She is larger than Orkid.

@@raptorblack2269 I’m not good with meters but I looked it up and it said that Corky ll is 6.005 meters in length and 3,810.18 kilograms in weight. Orkid is 5.791 meters in length and 3,447.302 kilograms in weight. So those are the two largest captive orcas in the world.

I love Keet. I heard he's very gentle. He's just like his mother Kalina who is sadly deceased now. Keet's mother was a gorgeous killer whale being half Icelandic and half Southern resident because her father was the great Winston. Keet is awesome! I love him. May he live a very long life. I'm sad Sea World can no longer breed orcas as it would be cool if Keet had a calf with Shouka or possibly Orchid.

I heard Keet is very lazy due to him napping a lot but after I seen this video of him eating snowballs, I love him and I like Takara who I never met.😅

@@ibrahimsultanov7355 Yes, I believe that she is too. They have tried to artificially inseminate her several times and all failed. Plus she most likely tried to naturally mate and never got pregnant. She is a hybrid of Northern resident orca and Icelandic orca. I heard her half sister Kayla had the same issues too as she was also a hybrid. Although Kayla did manage to have one baby, but sadly she passed away after 2 and a half years.

@@Starbright-385I don't think it's a matter of hybridization, after all, cetaceans even have different genera that produce fertile offspring, for example, a baby false killer whale and bottlenose dolphins, a baby white and bottlenose dolphins... If Kayla gave birth to at least one cub, it already means that she is not infertile, because Orkid has never even been pregnant. There are also female killer whales in nature who have lived to old age without giving birth to a single calf. Perhaps infertility is quite common among killer whales, and Orkid is one of those. In addition, Kalina and Taima hybrids have everything in order with their offspring.

a good majority of the whales were born in human care! at this park, only two were captured decades ago, and not even by seaworld themselves
