There's a clear cut line between a dash+m11 Light main and someone who read the tagline of map destruction, short story shorter; if you aren't a melee guy with all your gadgets+specs put into traversal and destruction, you're not even experiencing 5% of the game.

This is the only game where I legitimately feel like I'm doing parkour, where I have to pathfind through collapsing buildings on the fly, where I have to time my jumps right so I can climb into the exact window I want to, where barely making the long jump, latching onto the edge of the rooftop at the last second, makes me feel like the main charachter like no other game could ever achieve. Awesome video, I was talking to my friends about this the other night. We feel like this game is almost the smash bros melee of FPS's. Always thinking on your feet and creating your own "combos" game is criminally underrated.

AR2 is said to be set around the 80's, other sources said 2000's, but the presence of soviet officers made the cold war theory stronger. In my opinion Mackinaw island is not controlled by any faction, the rouge-like theme on the island is not related to either soviet or american, the smuggler airstrip and the plane crash on mack suggesting that the island is a "trading place" for thugs and drug dealers. The 3 main island (Halsey, Barkley, and Faris) has a lot of american influence, including their building format, the coast of halsey contained coastal bunker, idk if the bunker belong to the germans or the soviets, likely the soviets took control of the bunker in the 50's/60's after germany got divided. Barkley has soviet and american influence at the same time, the campground most likely used as a test place with subjects being the scout regime since there is a testing lab underground beneath the campground. The heli in volc most likely shot down AA (im just guessing) since the heli crash on volc has the tail snapped off of the heli, the presence of NATO is shown too at volc. In one of the buildings on volc has a military crates, weapon crates, and lockbox crates. ig thats all my theory, i hope you guys read it mate, cya

i played the finals briefly in december and was blown away how good of a game it was, from the mechanics to the creativity right down to the concept itself only thing i wasn’t keen on was the character design unfortunately i’m too invested in the other FPS game i play, but if i were to ever switch, it would 100% be to the finals
