Great little invention

awesome video :) simple and effective. I'm with the other commenter, having one that maybe attaches to two rails can make it lock by just pushing against it, and unlock by pulling it a bit harder. You can make the snap fits on the rails tighter so itll want to break from the right end.

I just ordered new remotes off amazon, and extened the antena for the motor outside the garage so now it opens from much further away.

Nice, snap fits are awesome. What about a new design that doesn’t require you to manually snap it on? I feel like you won’t want to (or you forget to) lock it in place every time. Just a thought :)

i think that it would create more vibration and it could lead to layer shift or even if some thing bad happens it could break your y axis motor because of the extra Weight of the camera you could Design some thing fixed to the main body

Bed adhesion/ raft brim would seem the case of why this failed i also have a 3d printer and this is a issue i come /face every now and then , i just addsome hairspray and it prints , or change the brim dimensions

and thats why you dont buy cheap chinese printers from creality - they are shit. Save up to by a MK3S/MK4 or an x1c

Absolutely demoralizing. This is why whenever I'm going to do a long print, I wash the bed in the sink with soap and sponge, wipe it dry, pour alcohol on it and let it sit, then wipe it dry again, then apply some glue on it. I use Elmer's Glue stick extra strength but I think All purpose does the job too. Takes a couple of minutes to do but I can be certain that the fxcking thing im printing wont come off the bed. I'm using an Ender 3 v2 KE and the plate it comes with.

I ordered a set of these weights for this purpose, but then realized that my hose is a MUCH smaller diameter. We have a pressure side feed hose. I am struggling to find a weights solution that is small enough that it won't just fall off our feed hose. Anyone else encountered (and hopefully solved) this problem?
