Don't think so, other models you can. But the assembly step is more tedious with those ones.

The side rails do not weigh much, maybe 20lbs or so. But that walk board assembly is a little heavy....maybe 60lbs. just from a guess off top of my head.

you cant use this scaffold on ground that is un level. And to use the second level they must have a railing kit. And yes they rock quite a bit

These are basic kits out of the box... and it's a damn shame that they are sold that way to uninformed consumers without much guidance. Buying the separate add-ons are a MUST in order to use them safely when going multi-level. Outriggers, safety rails, and replacing all the casters (scaffolding & outriggers) with leveling jacks is essential. Stability can be increased by adding ratcheting tie down straps that are run diagonally between the ladder frames to put tension on them to take up the slack and eliminate a lot of that wiggle. Add non-slip tape to the scaffolding rungs that will be used to climb up/down, and on the work platform. Yeah, all the add-ons are going to cost additional $$$$, but it's still cheaper than a trip to the emergency room via ambulance.

Do you have an alternative? I just bought this, assembled the bottom solo, and I'm pretty sure I can assemble the top solo, too.

@@OriginalJetForMe what I use is too simple and less parts easy to assemble , 2 ladder frame, 2 X shape or scissor type metal rods to lock n hold ladder frame and walk board that's it and no instructions need to assemble it by looking at it you can understand which part where to fit

I have one, I assemble and disassemble it myself all the time, its not a big deal.

Anything is better than falling and end up in the hospital ER.

@@fudgedogbannana when you see other one which is simple and stable than this than only you say its a big deal or not I use that simple one that's why said if I compare what I use and what's shown here What I use simple and steady Shown here complex and still not steady
