Thailand Wind Philharmonia (TWP), founded in 2015 by Navi Hongskul as TWP’s music director and conductor, is a community wind ensemble based in Bangkok, Thailand. Consisting of professional musicians, music instructors, and music students from various institutions including Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Mahidol University, Rangsit University, and Silpakorn University, the ensemble seeks to offer these talented musicians the opportunities to make music at the highest level, exchange experience through music, and expand mutual understanding of musical diversity. In 2015, the ensemble participated in “Rangsit Music Competition 2015” in which its qualifying performance was awarded a gold medal. Thailand Wind Philharmonia hopes to inspire young generations of musicians with its unshakable devotion to Thailand’s social development through music.
