Hi Accounting tech grad din ako. I studied Bachelor of Accounting dito. May pathway as long as nasa Skill list ang Accountant. The downside is very competitive at mataas ang points required to get invited.

Sabi kc sa employer ko tatawagan daw ATO kaso hinanapan ako TFN eh wala pa nga akong TFN pwdi mo ba akong matulongan ma'am

This is what I was told by my employer’s accountant : I just noticed that you are on a VISA This means from a tax perspective you are not an Australian resident and so your taxes will be treated differently. There is no tax free threshold for you as you are deemed an Australian holiday maker. As such you are not able to claim the Withholding declaration to claim you zone tax offset.

Yes need mo i-update to Australian resident for Tax purposes. Ipakita mo to sa accountant ng company www.ato.gov.au/individuals-and-families/coming-to-australia-or-going-overseas/your-tax-residency/australian-resident-for-tax-purposes jusko ako na-stress sa email nya. Bakit hindi nya alam yung apat na statutory tests to determine kung resident or non-resident. Hindi porket naka-visa eh deemed as holiday maker. 🤦‍♀️ bali kapag nag-lodge ka ng tax return mo this year make sure to tick Australian resident for tax purposes ka or better consult sa tax accountant.

It really depends on how strong your GST and you meet all the requirements especially the financial requirements.

Hi kindly check po sa iyong tax accountant. You need to meet the criteria and I am not sure if eligible ka kasi it doesn’t make sense na nagbayad ka ng tuition to be here tas i-claim mo tuition mo as self-education expense sa iyong ITR.

The answer is no sa case ko when I was studying. Yung first yr ko libre pa ang living expenses ko pero kulang pa din for my tuition.

May question sa tax return about medicare levy exemption. Dapat naka full exemption ka for 366 days tas sa medicare levy surcharge dapat nakalagay not liable for medicare levy surcharge.

Mga feb this yesr lang po ang agency ko nag apply samin almost 2 months palang kami dito po
