Yes, wearing one of those wigs. I remember him well with those wigs He would make the net of the wig show on purpose! Then we would watch people's reaction. He was a brilliant flash like a stun gum .

Was this his last interview? I'm only asking because this goes back to July 1994, and Leigh Bowery passed away the following December.

Leigh died in December of that year.
It's hard to believe that Leigh Bowery had AIDS in this clip. In this one he looked so healthy! I'm only saying this because he would be dead six months later.
He was only sick the last 5 weeks of his life, which was kind of unheard of with AIDS at that time.

Leigh was wearing one of his numerous wigs and please don't call this outfit normal, it was living art! Still moving me deeply that only a few months later towards the end of the same year he deceased.
Yes Sue Tilley said he only had 5 weeks of sickness. Leigh had meningitis that's what she took him into hospital for the last time and Philip Sallon said in a very Philip Sallon that leigh died fat. So there wasn't alot of wasting syndrome
Whilst I'm sure that this is just another disguise of Leighs, it always amazes me how he actually looks less normal in his famous 'child molester' ordinary wear than he ever does in his notionally more bizarre costumes. I think his is the perfect meeting of personality and style.
