The best orchestral arrangement of Cole Porter's music I've ever heard was the background music to the Peter Ustinov version of Agatha Christie's Evil Under the Sun. The whole film was saturated with it and it was absolutely perfect. I can't say I'm too keen on the Latin slant of this version.

I'm watching The Andy Griffith Show; Barney Fife loves Cole Porter.

the percussion is doing a great job of making it almost unlistenable..the two double bass would be more than adequate

jeez the percussion section is doing their best to ruin an otherwise pleasant interpretation..

As I said, he should have had some real jazz men set the tempo, like bass , drums and piano and maybe guitar. To really get the feeling of swing. --which is obviously what they were looking for here ----you need to have everyone LISTENING TO EACH OTHER. Here all they are doing is reading notes and NOT LISTENING TO EACH OTHER. Remember if you take down this post you do not want TRUTH.

I love this song. Ever since I was little.

This song is one of my favorite songs. I was raised as a Jehovah's witness in 1993 and I left them in 2021. I could not celebrate my birthday or anything. But I absolutely love this song.
