Most players think they can go online, watch a few combo videos, and theyre set, but its not really like that. I always feels confused when people say they "play the cast" or "mastered a character" just because they know a few combos with them. Awesome, I don’t mind using Scorpion as my character assist because, the dude’s always been my favorite classic MK character anyways so if he has the edge for his tools, I will definitely use him as my assist since he not only is my favorite classic MK fighter but, he has the edge for his tools.

@@MastermindRell I feel you bro, I had a hard time with them too. I actually never played cancel characters on previous MK games, they were too difficult! Luckily though, I worked at this one and finally got him down comfortable. It's about minimizing the input by sharing buffers and relaxing your hands! Hope you're having fun though my dude! 🤘🏻

@ to be fair a legit walkthrough with Janet like the full cancel combos would be super fire even ways of setting up jento. I know there’s videos on it but I don’t think there’s any with inputs on the screen walking us through it. I know I’d appreciate anything though.

Kenshi is actually my main lol. He's definitely strong in Sentó sandwich, but really struggles outside of it. Definitely learn him though! I think it's good to learn as many characters as possible to understand matchups! 🤘🏻

@@The2iiLijhtZone that's the thing though, it's like I said in the video. The only option is to block or delay wake up (but then you give up your turn and armor option). That's why safe jumps are so powerful, they shut down the opponent's wake up options.

@@MastermindRell hey thanks for watching and commenting man! I do think Janet does what Scorpion and Sub do pretty well. I had actually made a segment talking about both in this vid, but had to edit it out last minute because it would've made it an extra 15 min. But basically, Janet has anti-zoning with the wall, and more damage than Sub with better conversions, and is able to do all the combos Scorpion does, plus additional setups. I might come back to this and make the second half of the vid. Anything you want me to cover my dude? 🤘🏻

@@Aoimushahey boss. Just rewatched this video cause your content that good and underrated. Keep it up. I’ve been looking at ways to setup Jento successfully to break armor and or get crazy damage like Ermac but my creative brain is cooked. I feel like it’s an untapped market with it. I see you started cooking a lil but I think you can really chef a gourmet entree with it. With the OH not splatting across the screen seems like an easy gateway now.

@@MastermindRell I appreciate it man! Yea I found some combos, but the tricky part is the split refresh. Noob doesn't really have any specials that hold them still long enough for her to refresh. Plus, if you use bar, then the damage becomes not worth it since he gets better damage for the same resources off other routes. I definitely will keep cooking with Janet though! 🤘🏻 I'll look into Jento some more

@@adamvalenti3521 Yea man I tried multiple Kameos and just found Janet gave him the most broke stuff. Sub gives him Embrace Khaos, but the buff is not very good, so not worth giving up the Janet setups. In the end, play what you enjoy the most!

The mix with frost though is risk reward. Everything is when you think of it. I also play Cyrax and Sub-Zero Kameos 🤘🏻

@@petalsxox Yea I realized after making this video (it was like a day or 2 after release and I was packing up to leave town while making it lol). Mavado gives a 25% meter-less throw that uses both Kameo and does end in a ghost ball setup. He is kind of an easy "tack on if nothing else" Kameo (kinda like Sareena for most of the cast). I'll probably make a video comparing different Kameos to show the difference or how I pick Kameos in general.

Hey man! It is correct that Mavado can also get ghost ball setups. He gets a meter-less 29% into ghostball setup. However, Janet gives him 31% into ghostball setup for the exact same resources (1 Kameo). As for the Throw combo, yes Mavado does give Noob a 25% meter-less throw, but it costs him the full Kameo bar. Janet gives him close to 20% for only 1 Kameo, and gives him 21-22% (depending on the ender) into any of Noob's 3 setups. Watching HoneyBee was actually one of the reasons I made this video funny enough lol. I didn't see anyone using the Ghostball or Armor Break tech with Noob and wanted to share what I found. But Yea when you take all this into account, I believe Janet is just 200% the best Kameo for Noob! I might make a video comparing the 2 Kameo since I think it's a hot topic.

@@petalsxox Thanks for the feedback my dude! The only thing Mavado offers as far as neutral is back Kameo, which is +8 or +10 depending on the string you cancel. Other than that, Janet offers a safe reversal with nut punch, she offers the mime wall to allow you to counter zone (which leads to a full combo), and stunt double which can keep you safe and help with getting in during neutral. I think Janet is just more tricky to use, so people pick Mavado over her. That being said, I don't believe Mavado has any kind of practical advantage over Janet. It is very similar to Ermac in that Janet brings his whole kit together 🤘🏻 That being said, in the end of the day the point is to have fun, so if you're not competing or pressured to win, pick the Kameo you find the most fun!

Yes! This is super true! He was definitely misunderstood and up-played by the NRS community. This is why I always encourage players to lab any character they don't know 👍🏻 This is why I also think having access to throw combos and setups is crucial for him.

@@ahmadhamza1871 Yea I saw that on the trip after making this. I didn't have enough time in this video to talk about his safe jumps, but he is plus 46 off the f3 overhead I believe. Definitely it's good to mix and match things, I just was thinking of how I didn't see anyone using Janet when I made this, or going for ghost ball setups. I think sometimes people get lost in the sauce and forget combos aren't everything lol. I try to take advantage of what is unique to the character. In Noob's case, it's his ghost ball where he can literally full combo punish you for letting go of block. Safe jump and other hard knockdowns are also good in general, but it's something anyone can do. So I wanted to focus on what makes Noob shine specifically. I'll make a video on his other stuff when I get back! Thanks for the feedback! Brainstorming together as a community is always good!
