Yamaha doesn't build a race outboard but if you think that they couldn't.... go watch some motorcycle racing. THe best motors were the 225 EXCEL's from Yamaha but the 150ProVee was virtually indestructible and ran as well as any 150 ever produced.

Well..it's not all Yamahas..it's that Yamaha. 1987 ProV 150...Used a 225 block. So it was the best.

@@ddunn3489 actually the castings were different. The 225 Excel was the 6K7 and the 150 ProVee was a 6k5. Same casting but different sleeves.
