Hello there, Is this bag waterproof/water repellent? I'm looking for a flight bag I can leave on the carpet floor behind the seats of an old cessna - where it is usually damp/wet in the winter. My current flight bag absorbs this moisture and draws it into the inside of the bag - will this bag do the same? I can't find any information anywhere which tells me what material(s) the outside of this bag consists of

Congratulations! I also soloed when I was 16, before learning to drive (but not on my birthday). 45 years ago that was much more common thing then it is today. Glad to see new students getting excited about flying!

That's awesome. I also took lessons at 15 and soloed before I had my dricver's license. So funny that my mom had to drive me to the airport so I could fly airplanes.
