Looks just like project X
Very nice work Mr. N... I would like to have a 57 done like this... Very similar to the old Project X 57.... Thx for sharing.. btw, where are you located?
Thank you, it is very much project x inspired! I am in Missouri.
what paint code yellow is this? looks great . all spi paint? thanks
@@genek1341 all spi except the base coat. It is ppg 2756. Gm code 56. 75 corvette yellow. Thanks for watching!
Excellent work sir.
Thank you!
FOR ME A OK ME VERY NOT GOOD ME THINK OK
Work of excellence! Great work!
Thanks a lot!
It’s a ton of work. Looking good.
It really is, thank you!
Nice work!
I watched this video for inspiration to keep me working on the rust repairs and modifications on my 1955 frame. Hope to see it in paint within the next couple months. Nice video!
Thank you, the main body is painted! I will try and post a new video soon. Thanks for watching!
Looks good
Thank you!
Why round over the frame horns since the bumper covers that up any way. Or are you running sans bumper?
No real reason, other than it will look good while you can still see it. 😀
@@Mr.Nuck567 I get it 🤗
It’s never a good day when you have to use a grinder on your rear end and then clean it up with a sandblaster
I remember doing this to a '55 back over the winter of '79/'80 . You had to drill out the spot welds and remove the spare tire well but nobody made the piece to fill in the hole . You also couldn't get the extra wide replacement wheel tubs either , we had to split the stockers and add a strip of metal to them . The leaf spring relocation kit that puts the springs underneath the frame rails isn't new either . A buddy of mine bought an old Modified Production '57 set up that way back in 1975 .
You forgot the crash
Alright toads we'll take em all
Wow dude your the reincarnation of Cindy Williams riding with Bob Falfa lol
Drilled a water well for Dan Danchuk in Sebastopol..drove to his property in my black 57 Nomad..LOL
Very nicely done..mine is black with blue flames..it's a 56 150 utility..ex Pacific Bell sold to Bills Auto Electric..who serviced it..and then to me since 1979 Can't get enough tri fives!!!
hate to admit it but the salmon/white two tone looks good
Nice vid, love the Tri Five Nationals!!!!!! 👍👍
Best cars on Earth !!!! 2 Door Sedan
Nice work!
Thanks!
1962!
They are nice but someone else has one...build your own design is my philosophy
Video could have been better maybe some shots of 55 Chevy from the outside maybe 😂instead of straight run speed ...
Gotta,Love,those ole,Chevy's👍❤️
Baddest hot rod EVER created right there, NOW 😏 And I know "I ain't NOBODY, RIGHT?"....The car that STARTED IT ALL for me. I have a "finished" black Bel Air post that I restored (with a little help of course from the family 😏) that was a 15 year on and off restoration. It obviously, was TOO nice a starter car to make the Falfa 55 but...Yeah, LOTTA people, STILL call it "the Graffiti 55" at shows, cruises and the like, as I DO have the 💀 hangin' from my rear mirror too! 😏 GORGEOUS and yet, as ALWAYS BADAZZ TRIBUTE of the Falfa 55 ,there sir 😎🤘🔥🤘.
You shouldn't ever go under a car without using car stands for safety. My brother made a movie about a guy who's car jack failed and crushed him. It happens more than one thinks. Always exercise safety when going under a car/truck. Other wise I like this video and the car. I once hade a black and white 55 with a 327 and turbo 400 trans I bought from Jim Defranak.
Your supposed have the fastest car around , but that can't be your car, that must be your mama's car......
Very nice 55! Love the Big Block and chrome wheels. I ain't No body. Dork😅
Thanks a lot!
"AIN'T he NEEEAAAT".....😎🤘🔥🤘
beautiful 55 great job from outside to interior an absolute 10, you know your stuff and it shows, I wish Danny at D&D Speed shop would just paint a couple of his tri 5's. this bad boy is just sick in a good way.
Thank you, DD is sure fun to watch!
Nobody can beat Milner!
I ain't nobody dork, 😂😂
Great looking old 55👍🏻
Thank you!
Which was its result?
That's gonna be a sweet 57 I love the tri fives
Jeff Beck would have loved this - American Graffiti was one of his favorite films and he had the original 32 bought from the film studios.
jeff did not buy the original 32 he built another one the origiinall went to steve fitch then 2 a guy in san francisco--i know because i met paul and teh cars owner in 1990 at pleaasanton ca car show an they told me the whole story so thats not true
@@janjones4536 Not the original car, I remember now, but he did eventually manage to get the original plate. I was close. 😂😂🤣
And I live in Modesto…this ain’t Paradise Road.
Where did you purchase the floor from?
H&H classics.
Subscribed just to watch ya go ! Just started a56 2 door wagon
You guys done a great job on the floor pan ! Far better than a patch here, patch there ! Cars going to be great when done ! 👍✌
The two doors on the 57 Chevy still shut "GOOD". Your going to have one excellent solid heavy Chevy, when your all done the repairs up. Nice work !!
Nice short videos. 👌. Great to see another one come to life. I subed and follow along. Good luck.. keep up the good work. There's a few tri five guys I follow. Dons got rod garage. Haff rods builds. Midnight flyer. Be intresting to see what you do. I owned a convertible years ago. Great car to drive.
Looks like a good car to start with, here is one you may like, th-cam.com/video/whdjFCTkPJ0/w-d-xo.html
Subscribed. Curious to hear your plans.
Just think Hollywood Knights....
Nicely done, going to be a Kool 57 for sure. New sub for you. 👍
Thanks for the sub!
Very nice work, floor looks great. I saw how you lifted front of body off frame, couldn’t quite see exactly how you lifted rear half. Did you just run a 4x4 through back window and use lift? I’ve got to replace floor, trunk, and rockers on my 56. Thanks for the helpful video. Hope to see more!
Thank you! Yes we slipped a 4x4 through the rear window and put the lift arms under it. We used some ratchet straps to secure it.
It's running a big block because it is the same car from 2 lane black top ,that's why the hood was never opened in American Graffiti because big blocks did not exist in 62
Nice job on the rockers. That's a really cool 57👍
Thank you!
Love that old school...looking forward to see the completion
Wow man that floor turned out great! The spot welder is the only way to go on the edges man, such a clean finish! That will be a nice 57 Chevy👍
Thanks! We were real happy with the way it worked!
Man that 57 has great patina! The body looks really decent to start with. I'll follow along! Have a good one Buddy 👍
Thanks! This is my dad and I's project. Your channel is one that got us wanting to make our own.
