Don't know why you titled it 1976? The 2600 ver. came out in 1978, based on Gun Fight (1975) and Boot Hill (1977), etc.

Honestly i would have preferred a longer video with longer game video sections before switching this is rather erratic and hard to follow. It is good in the sense its a mix of games but you dont really get much genre style info on it in such short cuts.

Oh man the old school baseball handhelds brings me back. I was born in '87 though so not sure how I even ended up with one!

It's interesting to me that most of these games are simulators based on a profession. It seems we've been trying to use games to enhance our training experience for way longer than I thought. Weirdly enough, we have the tech now to make work-place training games better than ever but you hardly see anything useful.

I wonder how big the actual computer was to run Pool Simulator. It must have been a technical feat to pull off a physics engine in this day and age.

I appreciate this video because games preservation means a lot to me. I'd like to see an in-depth review of some of the titles featured here.

Why everyone must see it before I die ?

OMG, I remember playing Superman on the Atari 2600 as a kid, trying to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do. The game had some pretty obnoxious sounds, even by 2600 standards!

Man I have played a lot of these thanks to emulators and flea markets

Eaaahm....! Too much effort to hit pause for every game, due to the very short span of the presentation for each of them (under 2 seconds I guess). Surely can be interesting, but very poorly edited....

Some of them are actually very impressive ,considering they are nearly 50 year old games!
