Uh, what was this? I’ve got a degree in musical theatre, and this is not how this is sung. Not only is the key changed, but the dude is belting… can he not sing legit? Can you not find an actual baritone to sing this? Sorry, but I’ve seen much better at lesser-quality theatres. I’m more than happy to put my money where my mouth is. Call me. 😉

Went to opening night in Everett because there was a power outage on my block expected to last the evening that kept my car from leaving the garage, and this was 1.4 miles away in walking distance. I'd avoided musicals my whole life. This was superb, and you should go even if your power is on.

Wow! Her energy jumps right off the screen. I am so excited about seeing this show. Don you pink and c'mon down to the Village Theatre.

I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The actors/vocals were all terrific and worked so well with the minimal staging, which was fine). The orchestra did an outstanding job as well. I'm a long time fan of the 1967 movie Camelot, starring Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero, which won several academy awards. This is the standard to which all performances are so judged, and this was way up there. Will be recommending this to others as well as future Village theater performances. BRAVO...BRAVO

Always thought the show’s songs should be played like pieces by Erik Satie: the sentiments complex but restrained, deceptively simple. In a word, French. This performance seems to me perfect.

I'm glad to see a video where Lisa gets to talk at last. She was FANTASTIC in the Fantasticks -- so much expression and engagement throughout the show. Her performance was so good that I was almost distracted from the plot itself. It's like two shows in one!

My favorite show ever. The Mummers, in OKC in the 60's, did The Fantasticks (using the R word), and it began a lifelong love affair. The cast album was played many times in our house.
