"The World Doesn’t Know Your Perspective”: Deep Thoughts with Zachary Diehl
Tapping in at 5’11” with a fast-growing fan base, we have Zachary Diehl. A Maine boy who has no problem wearing short sleeves in the inclement weather Overland Expo West always has to offer. Over the last year, Zach has taken overlanders by storm with his satirical content poking fun at all the (let’s be honest) truths of the community. In their conversation, Jillian and Zach touch on the importance of being able to poke fun at yourself, which is how he has built his following. With the support of the community, lovers, and haters, Zach has been able to generate a large enough following to make this a full-time gig for himself. We have a feeling this is only the beginning for Zachary Diehl.

Black slaves were not released free slavery till 1868. Freed black men went looking for work and found cowboy jobs. After the civil war. You mist understand that white cowboys were riding horses before you blacks they taught black men to ride. The first cowboy hat was created in 1860. The creator of the first cowboy hat was john stetson and he got the idea from the original cowboy hat the sombrero that was created in the early 1500s by Mexicans who were the original cowboys of america. You blacks must of forgot but mexico owned all the southwest states of america until the 1830s. You blacks must do hard research on vaqueros and mexicans in texas? Mexican cowboys were riding in texas when you blacks were still slaves. White men took all of the horses and cattle of mexicans after the mexican and american war. They took land and cattle, horses. Then mexican americans taught white men how to herd cattle and ride horses then white men picked up how mexicans did it, then white men taught you blacks to ride after the civil war when blacks went up north and west to work as cowboys after being freed of slavery in 1868. You blacks were the last to ride horses in america. The oroginal cowboys were the mexican vaqueros. Google the word vaquero and you will see the truth You dont want to go around telling lies that cowboys are the original cowboys do you?

Sorry blacks but blacks were the last in america to ride horses. Spainards in 1492 teaching their sons the mexicans and indians in the 1500s and mexicans teaching whites after the mexican and american war to ride horses, then in 1868 after the civil war white men taught blacks how to be a cowboy. Blacks were given this hard job of moving cattle state to state to take to sell the cattle. It was a dirty job and low paying that is why blacks excepted it. Google the word vaquero and then you will know the truth making you stop being ignorant to the history of a cowboy or cowhand?

The not racing thing never entered my mind but I agree 1000% with Meg. Racing will improve your riding quicker than anything but you also need to work technique without the pressure of a race as well. I do not relax at all in a race. Only when it's over and I had a couple brewskis. I am 5'5 and I learn a lot from Meg because of that. Watching a 6'4 guy do a pivot turn isn't the same. LittleO

Vagueros as they were called. Back in the day many free people of color moved out west and became hands that moved cattle. In the Carolinas, some slaves from West Africa had experience with herding cattle because it was a part of their culture before they were kidnapped and sold. It was been said but you can easily look it but 1 out of 4 Cowboys towards the West were of African ancestry.

    • @rosemontano8705

@@osiruskat When black slaves came to america maybe there were some who knew how to handle a horse from africa but that all disappeared when they became slaves. First slaves were brought into america in the year 1619 and white slave owners didnt let black slaves handle horses because they would escape. Slaves were used for picking cotton, that was their main task. From 1619 to 1868 black slaves had no experience with horses till after the civil war. Black slaves were not called vaqueros that is a spanish word for cowboy.mexicans and indians were the first to handle horses in america from 1500 to now. White men learned how to ride horses in 1830s after the mexican and american war

I caught the portion where Brad was speaking about his wife going with him on these adventures. My wife watched less than one minute and she walks away saying "No way". I hope to see more with Regina going with you. I would also like to see more content on the mechanics portion, I don't think people understand, lockers or high and low range. Would love to see more of this type. Marco, I feel like I know the both of you. I recently purchased the 2023 Jeep Mojave. In my opinion this is a better option for me, as I will not be wheeling over the boulders that you guys go on. Keep up the good work!!!
