Upbeat relaxation
Yeah, this is the audio voltage. It was dropping at high frequencies due to a diode
Im curious, what is shown here? The sound output or?
Hey , just subscribed!! All the noisy fun eurorack diy stuff im in for!! 🎉🎉
Cool cover and sound. At the beginning I can imagine the shrimp moving through the water in search of something.
I would love to take a look at the schematics, but the link is not working. Any chance you could share it again? Cheers!
Yeah, I'll get it hosted again soon. Apologies!
It should be up!
@@the2d the one reason why I love the internet! Much appreciated.
@@the2djust checked, but link does not seem to work 😢
😂
How did you do trim on speedometer and push start button. Mine is peeling
It was ordered from Indian. The pieces just turned in. There is a black and chrome trim set.
There's some really nice filtered percussion in there. The slower tempos bring it out clearer, giving the envelope more time to develop. That said, it all adds up to a nice beat.
Good morning crickets.
Can actually picture these crickets getting together practicing their chirping. Cool
Good to hear your sounds again. Thought I’d see a video or pics of your cat on this but I was wrong.
Hey glad to see you plugged ut again !
Thanks! I'll be lowkey fixing some of my designs, making them shareable. With the help of some friends ;)
Loved the sounds !
Nice work
Thanks! This was the beginning of the modular/pcb design rabbit hole for me =)
I messed around with this chip on breadboard for a while a few years ago. It's a fun chip but I didn't know if I could live with it as a module that looses it's sample when the power is off and cannot save multiple samples. A battery backup should be possible. Would be a battery and a diode. I'm not sure what you mean about the IC sockets but, I fit sockets with ICs in the spacing of pin headers and sockets all the time.
Ah, this was a design error of mine concerning the ICs on an old version of the PCB. The ICs + sockets didn't fit in the middle of the PCB sandwich. The ISD1820 should not lose the recording with power off! I have some recordings on chips that I popped out that still retain the recording when I put them back in. God listening to this video again, I was so annoying!
@@the2d It's likely that I would forget and misremember it loosing the recording when it doesn't have power.
@@SkullDraizer sometimes when i reset my synth it records over the chip with noise or silence... its certainly not reliable
This thing is really talking, now we have to find to who it's addressed 😂
So I see! Logs don’t have snouts and swim that fast 😵💫❗️
Stop showing off your damn pet man 😅
😂😂😂
Das a big boy!
Is it? I just moved from the northeast and this is my first (wild) gator sighting.
@@the2d I'm assuming so. I live in the north Midwest. Never seen a live one in the wild. Seeing you're at a distance and can see defined features, nostrils, eyes, leads me to believe it is large. Google says, measuring the distance in inches, from their nostril to in between their eyes gives a good estimation of their length. If the distance was four inches, its length would be around four feet.
That is no log indeed, its an alligator.
Great to see all your modules! How many of them have you designed?
All of the black and purple ones you see: Looper, mixer, filter, adsr, giant clock, dual ring modulator, the chaos oscillators, and a sample and hold/multi-noise source that's not present
The ones I'm using here not of my design are the drum modules and output from Barton Musical, and 2 kassutronics KS-20 filters
The link doesn’t work. Looks like a fun build though
It should be back up within the week. It's hosted on my Raspberry Pi 4 and I just finished moving across the country. Once the DNS is fixed it should be up =)
@@the2d Awesome I will check back in the next week or so
@BigBadWolf.............. it should be back up. I have to update some other projects nut everything for the looper is there
@@the2d Awesome thanks for the update. How many hp is it
@BigBadWolf.............. 8hp
Good samples to take for some dark hardcore music !
I keep all my recordings pre-render but not patch notes =) if I ever get into learning DAW
Do you mean you’ve managed to get a loop without a gap?
When you use a reset it skips that blip, same effect can be had turning feedthru on and off during looping. I can make another video better demonstrating this
@@the2d that’s really good work to figure that out? So can you get seamless loops doing that? How is it done?
Will follow you blog very carefully then!
If you never played with a Atari 2600... 😁
Only my neighbor had one. But that did bring back memory. Now I just need to learn to play one of their tunes
"promo sm" 👍
Nice!
Very nice. I need one of these
This one is all through hole. I got the AS3310 ic from synth cube. I was kinda surprised at how enjoyable the CV is!
I Love It! THEY'RE HERE!
They sounded non hostile at least!
Oh wow, definitely in my playlist this one!
Great background for me to listen to
Visuals are great. Together I enjoyed from beginning to end.
Love it !
Henry ran away with a wah pedal circuit
Very cool. Also your microphone quality is second to none.
I used tweezers to adjust the gain on the ISD 😅
This was very helpful, thanks!
Could you explain a bit about module chaining: Is there a rear header available, or would it be entirely from the front facing jacks?
Front jacks only right now, it was suggested I put an interconnect internally. I'm considering what I would pinout on such a connector.
Haha you are ready for some French hardcore sounds !
Lovely work on this 2d !
Thank you for saying so, it was a happy accident =)
Hahaha remind me some alphex twin
He's my favorite =)
Nice!
Loving scratches and creepy noises !
I'm a huge fan of dark jazz. I think that's a musical influence I have. Thanks for the comment!
“A Hard Days Night” by Ramsey Lewis playing in my background. In sync. Makes it look like Chaos is moving to the music.😊
Merry Christmas
Hope cowboy get well soon
Thank you for your kind thoughts
@@the2d sr... Cowboy is not more?.... Is this correct? If so ..I hope you have good memories of him.
@@rmanpojo8485 he is waiting to say goodbye to his momma, then he will be at peace
A favorite…caring feelings 😊
Nice having the photo of Cowboy there peeking out from underneath your cap 😊 Almost sounds like purring or snoring near the end
i'd love to get a kit! how can i get that?
You can order them from me at the2dcour@hotmail.com or build one from the schematics available at the2dcour.com for free. This PCB has some flaws that weren't the schematics fault, I have to fix before taking orders. The microphone signal trace is transmitting to another trace that/when it shouldn't.
@@the2d thx!
@@theopozoga1132 I fixed the PCB and will be ordering the next production, email me if you'd like to be updated when it becomes available. I'm going to offer the pcbs and faceplate for $16 + shipping. I have to add up the BOM to figure out a kit/prebuilt price.
