지형지물은 3편에서 최초로 등장한 일종의 오브젝트로 주로 적들을 빨리 해치울수 있기끔 되있지만 지형지물 배치가 좀 애매하다.그리고 궁예를 어중간히 엿 먹일수있는 일종의 꼼수 구역도 은근슬쩍 존재한다. 드럼통 = (지역마다 랜덤으로 배치되어 있으며 한발 쏘면 그대로 좀비란 좀비들은 한방이 훅간다.단 자신도 피해 입으니 거리를 유지하여 파괴하면 됨) 시한 폭탄 =(공사장이나 전력 발전소 혹은 병원 지하에 설치된 시한 폭탄으로 이것도 드럼통 처럼 총 쏘면 터진다.워낙 한정된 지역에만 배치 되어 있기 때문에 발견조차 힘들다.) 증기 파이프 =(이건 이벤트성 지형 지물로 엄브렐러 지상 시설에서 잔여 연료를 얻은 후 이벤트가 발생하는데 총 2곳에 있는 증기 파이프를 건들면 고온의 증기가 발생한다.물론 다가가면 자신도 데미지 입으니 주의) 벽등 =(신문사 주변에 있는 불 램프는 이건 발견한 사람이 거희 극소수에 불과하다.그 이유는 여기도 궁예의 이동 차단 시킬수있는 꼼수 구역이 있기 때문.라쿤시 공원에도 존재하며 이걸로 좀비는 해치울수 있지만 거희 대부분 무시하는 경우가 많다.) 가로등 =(이건 그레이브 디거와 대치할때 주변에 있으며 이걸로 큰 데미지를 줄수 있다.그 이유는 약간이나마 물이 좀 고여 있는 부분이 있기 때문) 팔레트 =(이건 공사장 구간에만 존재하는 지형 지물로 위를 보면 왠 팔레트가 대롱대롱 메달려있는데 이걸로 드레인 데이모스를 한방에 해치울수는 있다.) 나중에 이런 지형지물은 4편에서는 인계철선 부비트랩이나 곰 덫 그리고 폭발형 드럼통이 등장하지만 역시나 배치는 중구난방이다.

엄브렐러 코퍼레이션은 바이러스 말고도 여러 치료제 나 연고를 만든적이 있는데 구작 3편을 해보신 분들이라면 어중간히 눈치챘을겁니다. 엄브렐러가 만든 약품(사실 이 약품 명칭이 컴퓨터 암호로 연결된다.)물론 랜덤으로 나온다. 아드라빌 = 연고(분량만 보면 아무리 봐도 치약 같다) 아쿠아 큐어 = 여성용 체력 회복제(구작에서는 약물로 나오지만 리메이크에서는 알약으로 나온다.) 사프스프린 = 감기약 애드 스프레이 = 구급 스프레이 어스프림 = 두통약 엄브렐러는 바이러스 말고도 이런 의료 약품을 만들었는데 사실 이건 총수인 스펜서 때문이다...사람 한명을 총수로 잘못 만들어서 이지경 이꼴이 되었으니....아..참고로 허브는 엄브렐러가 재배한게 아니라 아크레이 산에서 자생하는 식용 식물입니다.

라쿤시에 거주한 민간인들은 대참사 벌어지기 전 과 이후로 나뉘어 지는데 대참사 벌어질때 감염이 확장이 되어 전부 좀비화 되거나 좀비에 의해 사망 및 좀비가 되는 경우가 많답니다.위 영상은 구작 과 리메이크가 있는데 사망 이유가 각각 다를겁니다. 초반부는 라쿤시 경찰들인 엘리엇 과 에릭은 제외 시켰습니다.물론 엄브렐러 연구원인 윌리엄 버킨도 제외 시켰습니다. 다니엘 코르티니 = KIA(사망 이유:좀비에 의해 목이 뜯겨 사망) 웨스 드루커 = ???(사망 이유:불명 패혈증 내지 과다출혈로 추정) 채드 = KIA(사망 이유= 드레인 데이모스의 기생충에 의해 기생 되어 숙주로 사망) 에단 = KIA(사망 이유:좀비에 의해 사망) 다리옷 롯소 와 루시아 롯소 = KIA(사망 이유:다리옷은 질이 은신처를 나간 한참 후에 좀비에 의해 사망 근데 리메이크에서는 정부가 날린 기화 폭탄으로 산화로 추정 루시아는 게임 하다보면 비명소리가 나자 그 루트로 오면 루시아가 좀비에 의해 사망) 메이어 와 브래드는 둘다 경찰이기 때문에 제외 시켰고 브래드는 S.T.A.R.S. 사망 이유 영상에 기제했기 때문에 제외 시켰습니다.다리옷이나 에단 이나 채드 같은 다른 민간인들도 장난 아닐정도로 사망하거나 좀비화 된 경우가 많기 때문에 대부분 탈출한 소수의 라쿤시 시민들은 육로로 이용하여 겨우 탈출하지만 아직 남아있던 민간인들은 전부 좀비가 되어 결국 미국 정부가 날린 기화 폭탄으로 인해 전부 산화 됩니다.라쿤시 대참사에서 실행된 코드 XX 즉 멸균 작전으로 사망한 민간인들이 10만명으로 추정되지만 거기서 라쿤시 경찰관 이나 소방관 그리고 U.B.C.S. 와 U.S.S.대원들 까지 더하면 10만명은 훌쩍 넘었을지도...
