I flew in a Ford Tri-motor at Put In Bay Ohio back in the late 60's.
It was a lot of fun- from what we were told, this one was flying in that area at the time. It got damaged during a wind storm in Wisconsin(?) and was rebuilt in the 80's.
Love it.
I know someone that used to be obsessed with doing that kind of thing!

It's in the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro NC. They only open it for special events these days, but back in the day it was the place to be!

Relaxing, inviting and for me, being about as far away as we could be from your area (west coast of British Columbia, Canada), it's interesting to see where you go and how you live your life in your beautiful Airstream. Pretty ideal if you ask me. Thanks for showing us what Marion Virginia looks like.

In a state park that is totally logical... but for some reason both of us instantly thought "wifi". Maybe because we're older GenX, our brains are just going! :)

Actually it was our 4th time at Silver in the City- and we're already on schedule for next year! We've made some really great friends there.

I have seen this trailer up close in person and it is VERY shiny!!!!! I have some uluminum rub rails on my StepVan named Slow Ride. I will be consulting with EJ on the best way to make them shine. Lord knows he has had a LOT of practice.
