Anyone know what type of bridge is on Kenny's Strat?
First time I saw Kenny and it still floors me.
Always a classic!!
KV the Tele master shredding the Strat :)
So glad I had the chance to see Kenny Vaughn tearing it up-woah, never fails to impress me! I'm an old Patty Loveless fan too so this was special!!
Patty, 37yrs still listening darlin what a voice 🎶🎶🎶 Happy Birthday Song Bird Johnny from Alabama
I wonder where this Kenny guy is now?...like we don't know...lol.
As good as Patty Loveless is, this is just an amazing guitar solo by Kenny Vaughan with vocals on top.
Great song, great vocals and some of the best lead guitar I've heard!
Thought that was Kenny Vaughn. Dude is such a shredder.
Why is the sync of audio and video so far off??? Very distracting
That's one of the most fabulous guitar intros I've ever heard-- Kenny Vaughn is Great!
After a 13-year break, Steve Van Zandt reunited with Southside Johnny in 1991 for their fourth album together. It's an unashamedly nostalgic disc, highlighted by "It's Been a Long Time," which features him, Van Zandt and Springsteen reminiscing about the old days on the Jersey Shore. "We lived in a time and a world of our own," sings Southside. "Making up the rules as we went along." The album received raves, but in the grunge era there wasn't much appetite for a new Springsteen album, let alone one by the Asbury Jukes. Bruce Factor: He sang on one song and donated "All the Way Home," which he eventually recorded himself on 2005's Devils and Dust. ," which he eventually recorded himself on 2005's Devils and Dust. Patty Loveless is the best there is! And Cousin Kenny Vaughan and his Missus Carmella Ramsey make this video great! Nice job everybody!
johnny and bobby were at the top of their game in that performance. definitely television worthy!
There isn't a greater voice in country music!! I remember hearing "Chains" on the radio in 1994. I was four years old and this woman's voice STILL makes me feel that same as it did 27 years ago. ❤️❤️
What a great song and this is a heck of a slick and entertaining video. Studio recording, with visuals being a mix of a staged and real performance. Am to to 50+ viewings
Dang! Great music. Only thing wrong is a nerd geetar getting too close to my imaginary love of my life, Miss Patty.
he's married to carmella
Daniel prayed Ricky Skaggs song music video patty loveless Ricky Skaggs song music video.
Would be nice to go back to this on ACL vice what you see these days.
Don't you LOVE redheads.
Is that guitar player the one who plays with Marty Stuart ?
Yes it is .........Kenny Vaughn
Gary Brinker yes that is Kenny Vaughan. He’s an insanely good guitar player!
He later married that backup singer, Carmella.
He also played with Lucinda Williams.
Kenny Vaughan is Da man!!
WOW ! Patty, Carmella and Ricky. How awesome is this? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still LOVE this after all this year, it is mine be happy song and it always work :)
He is playing a G&L Legacy :) Great guitars. I love mine.
Looks like an S500 with a locking bridge.
My favourite Patty video, with the great Kenny Vaughn !!!
pretty dam good
THAT Guy Can PLAY!!!
Some nice bluegrass gospel.
Vince is great no matter how he supports a performance of others. During his acceptance speech for the BMI Icon award on 11.4.2014, he said his voice has always overshadowed his playing an instrument or a song writing. I have seen him playing a violin for his performance at Ryman in 2007.
Loved Patty's voice since the first time I heard her!!
Good grief why is that coming in such tiny format :'( great great video by one great great performer ✰✰ Patty my #1 ever ❤❤
It's an old video, posted 7 years ago. Low-def by today's standards. Sorry about that.
John Henry Dont feel sorry :) i like it very much :)
bigcrotchdan that is Carmella Ramsey, Kenny's wife
Are you out of your mind Gary Leavitt!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Better than Clarence? WOW dude, get a clue
hes great
Great talent on this bluegrass song with Patty,Ricky and Carmella. IMO Patty has one of the best voices in country or bluegrass. Awesome and thanks for sharin.
Or...go all the way back to CCr's 'Green River'. John Fogerty. One of my favorite Patty songs right here.
Ditto, same here. I was never a big country fan, but my mom listened to it alot back in the late 80's. This was one of the standouts. I liked the Judds too as well as Kathy Mattea. There were a couple others here and there I liked too. But basically I am a good 'ole fashioned rock boy. BUT I do like southern rock bands such as Skynard and Creedence. Oh yeah! Charlie Daniels. Love them!
Nah, this song trumps most of Reba's stuff...with one exception...Fancy. BUT, that song was penned by Bobby Gentry and there is NO messin' with her.
Should have been bigger than they were !!! The soul in this music is gold !!!
God damn right man!!
I dunno why english speaking ppl pronouce 'no' in japanese 'no-u'...
Always had a crush on Patty Loveless
thanks .i shall do that, Kenny is one hell of a player, i'm self taught with around 25 years of playing , but i just play mostly for myself and jam with a few friends just for fun... carmella and patty. well what can you say about them that we don't know , some of the best in the biz...
Check out the video on my site with both Carmella and Kenny on stage together. Patty Loveless - Blue Side of Town -Live-
it's funny that most folks don't know who Carmella Ramsey is , Married to the great guitarist Kenny Vaughan she's one of nashvilles top side musicians, acomplished on guitar, mandolin ,and fiddle plus one hell a singer. She's been backing Patty up for years, it's to bad she has no music out on her own as she is one super talented lady...
Great job. Please keep it up.
Listen to the beginning of this and the beginning of Adele's Rolling in the Deep
love this song .. she is great .. and i have a jealous bone .. born with it i guess ..
Patty is a superstar with an awesome voice. This is the wrong music format for her . I think Kenny is much more in control and in his element with Marty.........too many loud simple licks and showoff stuff for this song and this gendre..........he should stick with guitar extraordinaire Marty Stuart.
@rocknblues81 Hi from Finland, im with you bout strawman on his overcritical comment, ha! I still play guitars thou my left hand barre is a bit weak due to injury ( theres ways round that: lower tuning...and different techniques...), I always loved jazzy guitar instead of speed and i wonder where i got it from, ive written some jazz tunes and bossa novas/sambas in English young when I studied English at the university....so I get my love for jazzy music most from Brasil (playing nylons) as Kenny gets his from the american country swing jazz tradition...its all just a accumulative business off course really: like Joe Jackson ( English songwright) in one of his songs : i thought that life begins at seventeen....but we just accumulate...anywhoo despite my sorry hands I keep on playin my ukes and strats and my lovely latest acquisition Cordoba Iberia Dolce ( 7/8 Nylon )! its got a truss rod and the intonation is spot on! ((never ever had that on any classical guitar in my life!)) p.s. someone posted that the dark haired lady on the guitar is Carmella, Kennys wife, well one of my very early songs is called Carmela, its a small world when you live long enough, turning 54 this month this is more info than you needed sorry, keepin it 21 Celsius and 45% Humidity ( for My Cordoba in the case), Lingonheimo out : )
@rocknblues81 totally!not even a clue...
@@kimmolingonheimo rock on!
Strawman go back to your basement.
A year later and straw man is still dum AF... if not dumber... Not in her element... What a blithering fool
