Just brilliant. Tried to do this today but I’d bought the wrong hooks due to the salesperson having about as much curtain expertise as me! Changed the hooks earlier and will attack with renewed vigour tomorrow. I didn’t even know you had to pleat the curtains: would’ve looked a right mess. A big thank you from Perth, Australia. 😊

My curtains have a similar plastic clip, but there appears to be another clip that fits into this track thing. Curtain has come away almost half the length and is just hanging down. Not sure what to do? Don't know what to even ask for at the shop?

Fabulous. I have just shoved my new pencil pleat curtains on the rail but will take them down and do this once I have bought the rings. It took me a lot of research to understand curtain sizing, I bet you explain in perfectly on here.

Just bought new curtains from these guys. Googled how to put them up and hook them as didnt want to ham fist it. Replacing the curtains in my rented property. Apparently the landlord never watched your video or knew what the string are for either. This is going to look a thousand times better. Also I did not realise I am going to need about 60 track hooks to do it properly. Neither did the landlord.

I want to instal a 2 panel curtain with pencil pleat, I had messured my pole and it measures 2.1 meters, dividing that into halves I got 1.05 meters. My question is, how much fabric do I need for one panel? Would adding quarter of the total be enough, or do I need more? For example, 2.1 merers long (pole measurements) 1.05 + 0.525 = 1.525 meters wide for each panel Thank you again for uploading this videos, they are super helpful.

Like the others, I'm an old guy who can do anything...or so I thought. Curtains and everything to do with them is a big learning curve. Last piece of the puzzle, hooks every fourth 'pencil pleat' and tuck draw string in little pocket. Thank you Btw, mine will 'kiss' the floor😉

Hi does each curtain needs to be the full length of the pole ,then pull it to half length? My curtain pole is 188cm, the curtains I bought is 117cm each , is it the wrong size?
