Reselling thrifted and estate sale items doesn’t ruin thrifting because these stores and sales are constantly restocking with new donations and goods to liquidate. I help save unique and vintage items from ending up in landfills by going to estate sales in their final hours-right before many unsold items are tossed into dumpsters-and giving them a second life by making them affordably available on my website. Many people can’t make it to estate sales themselves and are happy to have access to these treasures online. Thrift stores also benefit from increased sales, which support their charitable missions. @plymouthcards well, not to sound hard and cold, would they honestly just give it back if they were in your shoes? I really doubt it. You are a kind soul and a wonderful person. But, at the end of the day, you are also a business owner, and your effort and time are worth something! But, this is just my opinion and perspective. I probably question things being a bit on the skeptical side of things as well.
