Cheap Stalling Lawnmower Fix
This 7 HP Craftsman lawnmower would only start if tilted sideways and would constantly stall. $12 new carburetor fixed it, and it was delivered next day to my doorstep!! Unbelievable! Runs great.

Completely Disassembled Miracle Gro Spayer

I completely disassembled a Miracle Gro garden and lawn sprayer to explain exactly how it works. They do not tell you that the “jar” must fill completely for the solution to reach the jet stream of water exiting the spray nozzle. I recommend pre-filling the jar with water and solution to you don’t have to wait 4 minutes for it to fill.

Main Point? Fill the cup to the top with solution and water before you screw it on. The positive reviews on Amazon do not match the volumes of issues people have with this device. There are insufficient directions on the bottle label regarding how the cup must fill completely. Miracle Gro simply sends canned responses to folks with issues and keeps adding dollars to their bank account for the garden/lawn solution and the tool. Corporate America. Their hot line was somewhat of a joke. She finally did, though, explain that, yes, the cup must fill with liquid completely for it to work. Why did Japan take over the U.S. automotive manufacturing/sales market? Here's a highly simplistic example of why. Poor products that never improve because no one gives a damn to change anything. How about the simplest improvement involving a better explanation on the label? Too much, huh?

No, he was not interested in knowing. They have a second story on their house; our furnace (e.g., evaporator) is just about below grade. I wonder if the liquid refrigerant runs down the high pressure line when the compressor stalls, or runs backward? Someone has the answer, I imagine, but I'm leaning to liquid in the low side. Many people complain of early A/C failures, and I wonder f there is a connection. Thanks for weighing in, Alan!

    • @frankscuiletti996

Thanks for the information. This was a HUGE help. We had a lightning strike hit and fry the PCB in our 2017 LG Washer (or I was hoping that was the issue). Great work, Mark. Glad it worked out. I appreciate the note! I think lightening strikes may have been the root cause because others in my neighborhood had other types of power problems at similar timeframes--so I highly suggest plugging your machine into a power strip w/breaker.

  • @frankscuiletti996

PCB or Printed Circuit Boards can be damaged by a voltage spikes through indirect lightening strikes, for example. I installed one of those common power surge protectors, similar to what you'd plug you personal computer into, to the duplex outlet and now plug the washing machine into that. Sensitive electronics. Nice, but expensive.
