It was understandable why he was despised by hard-core wrestling fans throughout his tenure as the top drawing face of WWE for a decade. Yeah, he did win too much and yeah, his character work from 2010 to 2014 was quite stale and frustrating at times but throughout all of that, John had proven time and time again of how goddamn valuable he is to WWE. This man has literally given his entire life for WWE and great to see that people have finally realize how phenomenal he is ever since 2015.
