How high is the front inside and outside. Looks beautiful!
17’ outside. 13’ inside.
Is this in MN??
Alberta
@@dillonh561 We're about to attempt to build this... any advice, dos or don'ts, things you love or don't love about it? Any feedback would be extremely appreciated!
@@williamboland8502I would say watch your site grade closely and plan your septic/cistern and eavestroughs accordingly. Good luck!!
Did you build it yourself? Or did you mostly end up having contractors do the framing etc? Considering going for Beaver Homes but building it myself and buying all the materials and was wondering if they make you buy the whole house kit up front or if you can get away with buying Only the materials for each section as it gets built
We got ours fully built in the modular yard by HH. Then trucked to our site and set on foundation.
🔥🔥
Looks really nice! It’s on piers right? Was that significantly cheaper than a concrete basement or crawl space?
It’s on ICF crawl space. Keep in mind you need somewhere for your furnace and hot water heater to go. Also need to keep your plumbing from freezing.
Did the package cost (excluding labour) come in close to the price on the Beaver homes website? How was your experience working with them?
The “Turn Key” price listed on the website HH Lloydminster is the price we paid. They built it in their yard. We paid for trucking to site. Experience was great.
Were there any major additional costs above the 'Turn Key' price on the website? How long did it take from first meeting with HH to having the building installed on the foundation? I'm very interested in building the same model in Ontario. @@dillonh561
No additional costs. Everything is accounted for and included. If you make major upgrades it would cost more. But middle of the road counter tops and flooring etc… is all included in turn key price.
It turned out beautifully!!! Thank you so much for sharing !! Gives us an idea of what our home will look like, as well! Really appreciate it:)
What province you in?
We will be building in Ontario :)
How did it turn out? Any issues with the building?
New video posted. No issues.
Please post an update video! Looking at the Jackpine myself - would love to hear about your experience

How did your home turn out?:)
Great I will post a new video one of these days.
Would love to see how this turns out! :) Looks beautiful!
We will know in a couple weeks.

We are actually thinking about building on our lot a Beaver Home as we live in northern Ontario.. Do you mind sharing what the cost was of the home itself?
The jackpine itself is around 200k. Then you have to think about foundation, plumbing, heating, septic/cistern.
@@dillonh561 Ah okay, much appreciated! Is that $200k just in materials, or labour as well? We purchased our property last year is a 40x80 shop on it. Made living quarters until we can build. But we just put in the septic system for both shop and house, along with a well. Thanks for your input!
@@jamesmatthews4840 200k~ is our price in Alberta for fully finished. But built in one piece in their RTM yard. Then trucked to our location. Trucking is extra.
Just got an ssv 16 putting it on the water tomorrow first time so excited. Our bench seats have the marine vinyl, we bought it secondhand. We'd like to install seats and the seats we got were from a war eagle boat and have a Kingpin base. But I've also looked at Swiveleze bases and wonder why you chose Kingpin and hownthats worked out. I'm concerned with Swiveleze that the bearings will not do well in the salt water environment we are in. I'll also add that 2 of our riders are about 275 to 300 lbs. How sturdy do your kingpins feel? What type screw etc did you use to mount that base to the benches. We aren't going to hollow out the benches so I'm essentially screwing into Styrofoam. Ours is a side console so so Im.hoping to put a chair for the driver and one on the bench next to it. Thx
The kingpins are sturdy. Get stainless mounting hardware.
Can I ask you about your build process with Beaver Lumber
Sure!
Nice catch
Where are you and what fish is it? Anyway I like the vid
Alberta, Canada. Walleye.
Hey, your cabin is looking good. We're thinking about building the same one. How did it turn out?
Not finished yet Darrel. This video is only a month old.

Video started and watching the scenery beautiful soothing music playing in my head as I see birds fly by a pasture suddenly interrupted by the theme from jaws followed but the sound PAC MAN makes when he's done

I wish I could have gone. Maybe 2023👍😃 great video
I like the design but I just wish it had the double floor so when it rains you’re not sitting in water all the time. Living in Seattle that’s a big issue.

Thanks for the great video and all of the close-up shots. I'll be getting a SSV-18 very soon and this help with decisions on trailer swing tongue, drop-in floors and more.
I had mine locked over 40 years ago and a guy broke the wing left the lock on and tried to sell it back to me lol,oh yea I never paid him!
I know this is a older video but why don’t you guys put a bolt thru your motor mount so you don’t loose your motor?
I have the wing nuts wired together.
Great video. I have one of these on order and should be getting it in a couple of weeks. I want to get the foam out of the middle seats and make them into storage like you did. How did you get them cleaned out so well? Other videos I have seen they just cut it out but it's not clean like yours. Again great video and thanks for sharing.
I cut it out with a knife and then glued some light plywood to the foam.
@@dillonh561 nice work. Looks real good. Can't wait until my boat gets in so I can get started on it.
Hey great boat! I Want to get one of these soon!! With the folding tongue, you said the whole thing is 18.5 ft long...is that including the motor sticking out the back to the tip of the trailer folded ?
Yes that’s right
See you in 10 years when this is in my recommended

You should of just landed the rest of them
Then you could have got way more
@@kolecarpenter9435 they were probably down to one more to fill there limit
Now that was satisfying. Especially when the duck I was watching was the one that dropped.
Do you have any issues with water getting into bench seats after cutting them to create storage. I was thinking about doing the same on mine.
No issues with water

Its rated for a 40 so that’s what I have on mine and it goes pretty good...
