Thank you so much for this video, this is exactly the kind of instruction that I need when starting something new. I want to make memory quilt duvet cover for my son, do you have video on how to make duvet covers?
Can you make a tutorial how to use the sewing machine!😭 I’m completely new at this I’m trying to make a quilt for my daughter’s first birthday!
Hi. Once you have pulled the binding and clipped the binding to the front of the quilt, how are you sewing the corners? Are you simply just sewing all the way around because the folding was completed on the backside?
Do you have a list of all the things required to make this please. Great video!
Great tutorial. Thanks.
Hi, beginner sewer here. This tutorial makes it look like I could do this! Could anyone tell me what thread would be best to use? Thanks x
Hi do you provide any online workshop.. I would love to do that ..
I like the blanket I will do it, I hope I don’t have any problema great job and good to memorials some special baby clothes
Im in uk plz guide me anyone from where can i buy the stuff to make quilt from baby’s clothes like the material in between
I started making one 10 years ago... Still not finished 😂 I've already cut my squares though. Will this still work?
I don’t even have a machine yet but the brand recommended to Me is the one you’ve got , now that being said , this has given me me the confidence to start my process of the project. Just gotta go through all my sons clothes from birth to 3 years old cause this blanket is for me 😂 but I’m excited to start and this video makes it seem really simple! ❤
Thank you for this great tutorial!
Love this! I want to do this, however I don’t have a sewing machine… would it be possible to hand sew this?
Different sizes. What about that? Cant always make them same size because of the pictures on front of shirts
This is the best video I have seen. I’m a total novice and your explanation and step by step process was so easy to understand. I can’t wait to make my first quilt.
Hi I am New at this can this be quilted as well
You gave me the confidence to tackle this project! I was so intimidated because I didn’t want to ruin the clothes I saved. I’m looking forward to starting it 😊
this tutorial is the best and so easy to do even for me as a 14 year old and I'm about to finish this nice blanket for my sisters
Hi love ur video… thanks for taking time to explain the process. Could u tell me if there is a special stick or needle that we have to use for the T-Shirt material.
Great video for beginners, though I was expecting to see a lining too ! I've mad envelope covers for years but never tried a patchwork so I popped over for tips and wasn't disappointed, thank you !!
I just need to get a sewing machine I’m going to make one for my girls each😊
What happens if I don't add the black thing on the back of baby clothes? Will the blanket shrink or get ugly?
Fabric will be too stretchy and loose if you don't use it.
Absolutely great tutorial for a beginner like me however would love to see more detail on how to sew the corners - do you sew both edges after doing the corner triangle folder or just sew down the next edge - how do you sew the binded corners to finish the quilt Otherwise thanks 😊 so helpful!
This was an excellent tutorial. I’m planning on making two baby quilts for my daughter using the clothes of my son who passed away! I know it’s going to surprise my daughter! 💙… this will be my first time making quilts.
Hi, really great tutorial, thank you. My daughter is 5 years old and I'm finally going through all her clothes to see what to keep for the quilt and what to donate. How many squares did you end up using in your quilt?
You do so well at explaining. Giving so many options and examples. Going over as many scenarios or outcomes that may be. Wow. I’m getting into sewing and I’m definitely following you.
Very clear description, thank you.
Thank you for sharing. One of the best tutorials I’ve seen. Very informative.
When you fold over the binding and then fold it back to the straight edge do you restitch over that straight edge before turning and sewing along the next side?
Very clear
What size was your backing fabric before you cut it please? It looks bigger than a fat quarter.
Nice
Brilliant video... Can't wait to start my first baby quilt for my new granddaughter. Super easy to follower. Instructions nice and clear
For the backing fabric does it all have to be one piece or could i stitch together a few smaller blankets that i have and then use it as one piece?
How beautiful ! I have been wanting to make one of these for my seven-month-old daughter! Thank you!
Great video
This is the best video I’ve ever seen . I’m and experienced quilter who has struggled to gain all the skills that are so clearly and calmly explained here. I would recommend this video to anyone particularly new quilters. Brilliant.
Really enjoyed njoyed your tutorial. Thank you. Watching frm South Africa 🇿🇦
I would do it again
Terrific tutorial. You made my grandsons memory quilt possible
How can i add and sew letter appliques on the blanket pls
Hi there, thanks for the video it's given me great ideas. Please can you advise - among the baby clothes I use - can I possibly include knitted clothing as part of the patchwork? Thanks in advance for the advice.
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful job.. Thank you so much, this video is one of the easiest clearest videos I have seen so far.. Beautiful idea to keep baby clothes as a memory. Thank you again, I am a beginner in quilting, I have seen many videos but this one is the best 🎉🎉
You made it look so easy! You are amazing! Honestly the best tutorial! Easy to understand for a beginner like myself..
What size of template did you use
Love it!
Nice job 😊
Would it be okay to use fleece instead as the backing?
