If you are referring to the control module, it is mounted behind the main radio screen.

The Pioneer AVH-3500NEX is the radio and a rear camera are the parts. I would not recommend an auto mechanic on the installation.

I am a little taken back by your comment. Are you committed to driving this vehicle for the next couple of years? What vehicle did you have before the Lexus? There are changes that can be made to improve the items your unhappy about.

The radio in the video is a Pioneer AVH-3400NEX which was replaced by the AVH-3500NEX. The radios are very similar and fit into a DIN opening providing a motorized touch screen with CarPlay or Android Auto.

Is your question buying a 2015 S550 with 100,000 mile on it a value? There are many considerations to take. I would recommend emailing me with this question and I will forward you what to consider. I do not believe that the memory card would be the cause of the Shift Malfunction. It occurs with an RF interference to a module under the center console. What I would try is disconnecting the battery under the hood over night as a soft reset to the electrical system.

@@TheSoundconcept I didn't have to disconnect the battery as it went dead and needed a boost so basically reset. I lost all of my connections to Lexus Connect however my dash cam continues to beep when starting the card (I think because there is no memory card in it - afraid to put one back in since that i when everything started getting all the error codes etc). Do you think it could be the dash cam that is causing an interference?

We only installed a subwoofer amplifier. The signal was off the lower front door speakers and worked perfect.
