My first inclination would be that it would sound like a clarinet, but it does carry some of that saxophone sound. Very interesting!

Depends what flute. If it's a branch flute, i kinda wing it and make it up as I go

how did you drill the air channel?
It's made from two pieces of wood. Router the inside and glue them back together

Awesome flute but I do wish you’d record without reverb and other effects sometimes….just the flute and natural surroundings.
I only use reverb, any other sounds are the natural surroundings. No other effects added
Good on ya for uploading that….it’s hard…and embarrassing learning new instruments! My Banjo was hard enough on neighbours etc, but a high whistle is brutal! 😊…..top tip….a little bit of tape on the sound hole acts as a mute when learning 👍
