FAMILY DAY DURING LOCKDOWN ! Our Cornish Life Vlog!
Hi friends, hope everyone is doing okay ! This video is a family vlog... Catch up with my husband Jomel and baby Arlie as we enjoy a day together after my busy set of night shifts ... :) We have a few chit chats over lunch, do our daily exercise along a beautiful cliff path and end up in Aldi for supermarket supplies !
For those interested, we walked from St Agnes head to Chapel Porth beach and back, along the North coast of Cornwall. Its a truly beautiful walk and we had a wonderful time together, enjoying the lovely weather.

My time working with the Pacific Leprosy Foundation in VANUATU, SOUTH PACIFIC
มุมมอง 3624 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a short snippet of my time spent volunteering with the Pacific Leprosy Foundation in Vanuatu in 2015. At the time, I was a second year medical student and was very interested in charity work so volunteered during my summer holidays. Volunteering is a fantastic way to gain experience in a particular field of interest and I learnt so much from working with a charity at the grass roots lev...
I also being out in nature and walking on the beach . Your videos are beautiful and it's lovely to see your children. ❤❤
Beautiful kid❤️. I've heard that there are clinical rotations in FY2 and have to change places accordingly is it true? Kindly help me with this.
I broke into tears, you are such an example of how a family should be. I hope the very best for you guys! Your channel gives me so much motivation, as an intern doctor in Turkey who is preparing for plab exams. Thank you 😌
Brings tears to my eyes. I will have to go back one day. Unemployed with no car at the moment. But hopefully things will change. Beautiful Cornwall.
My child hood. Every year.
Thankfull.
Gora is serbian word.
Thank you for the Very informative VLOG especially for us who are preparing for PLAB and seeking to hopefully get an FY2 Job in the near future.
Hi, I am from India. I liked your swimming in a extremely cold water. What was the temperature of that water. You are looking extremely beautiful and smiley. Hope to see more videos like this. Bye and take care
The temperature of the water was about 7 or 8 degrees I think ! Glad you enjoyed the video ! 😃😃
he's so cute , I know it's really hard to leave him
I am presently studying at my med school and I wish to work in NHS UK🇬🇧. I am from India🇮🇳, I have numerous concerns in my mind regarding the lab exam. 1) The FY2 doctor gets 32,691 salaries. How much money from this is deducted by the UK govt for tariffs and all the correlated things? I mean money left from the salary after all the monthly average expenses are?
1) The FY2 doctor gets 32,691 salaries. How much money from this is deducted by the UK govt for tariffs and all the correlated things? I mean money left from the salary after all the monthly average expenses are? 2) Can I come with my wife, if I got married during my Fy2 status. 3) if anyone wanna go home during FY2 for some work, Did NHS allow it? 4) how many days or months any FY2 trainee get for holidays in a year to visit his home country? Kindly answer all the questions.
Good for you ! Do you mean PLAB exam ? I plan to do a video about this at some point with my husband (if I can persuade him !). He did medical school in India and then came to UK to work as a doctor. The FY2 take home salary totally depends on what job you have. On call jobs pay more and therefore you might end up paying more tax. I will look into this and try to address it in a video at some point ! Good luck with your medical school journey ! 😃
@@drjamilehgeorge Yes PLAB exam! May be when I will complete my degree at that time plab may be changed with some other exam. Kindly make a video and don't forgot about married life expanse.😜
My another concern is as :- In India 🇮🇳 we have to study 4.5 years then we are eligible to apply for NEXT which is exam conducted in India for license after that we become eligible for 1 year full internship/ foundation year 1 then we get the license from indian govt. Does this one year internship will be included in NHS and we will be admitted directly in FY2?
And what remains the ratio rate/ percentage of qualifiers in the PLAB exam through worldwide?
Omg lol are you mad 😂 you are very local to myself and I paddled and my toes froze, yes our Kernow certinaly is beautiful 😊
I'm a final year medical student in Scotland and I've put Peninsula as my first choice for FY job as the nature looks fascinating! thank you so much for sharing your life with us!
That's so great, I'm sure you'll love Cornwall ! It's so fun down here, and junior doctors seem to have a really good work life balance with so much nature on our doorstep ! All the best ! :D Xx
Love how you manage to keep a healthy work/life balance even after a nightshift. Great VLOG, the beach in Cornwall looks amazing!
Hey. This is so full of knowledge. I've been trying to research for a TH-cam vid like yours that really explains the topics in this TH-cam vid. 👍Your content really is like the videos from Dr Ethan! Doctor Ethan's videos are actually knowledgable and I actually learned a lot for my diet. I recommend you see his channel out and give the doc a subscribe! ➡️ #DoctorEthanQandA
👍👍👍
How long is night shift breaks usually ?
Hi ! Officially I think you are entitled to one half an hour break for a shift which lasts for more than 5 hours, and a second 30 min break for a shift that is longer than 9 hours. This doesn't always happen if it is very busy but I think its important to try if possible !
Dr Jamileh George ok thank you
You’re so smiley and your vlogs are always so nice to watch! I’d love to hear more about your med school experience. I’m in my first year of GEM and finding it so interesting but very intense
It is super intense, keep going, all your hard work will all be worth it one day! I will definitely try and do a video about my med school experiences soon ! All the best :D
I felt cold just watching you in the sea!!!
One day I’ll persuade you to come in with me when you’re in Cornwall Kat 😆😆😉
Lovely vlog as always Jam😍
I enjoyed your vid a lot! I have been trying to research for a TH-cam vid similar to yours that really breaks down the topics in this TH-cam video!Your content for sure reminds me of the content of Dr. Ethan! Ethan's demonstrations are actually educational and he helped me a lot on my exams. He is an informative health enthusiast in Nottingham. Go see his TH-cam out and give the doc a like! 👉 #DoctorEthanScience
