Great exposition, but have you ever considered how Islam and its prophet fits into this prophecy? Actually, I did. Go study Muslims eschatology and history. You will be amazed how Daniel was accurate. Furthermore, do you know that: 1- From the destruction of the first temple (586 BC) to the second one (70 AD), there was 656 years, 2- From Jesus' CDR (30 AD) to the building of the ABOMINABLE Dome of the Rock (686 AD), there was also 656 years. 3- There is 40 years overlap between the two periods. 4- 656 solar years equals 666 prophetic years (360 Days/Year). 5- It took 6 years to build the DOR (686-691AD). It could have been 2300 Days!

We are so enriched by these powerful presentations. Tim is incredible with all the significant details. It really looks that Tim C is carrying on in the same vein as Tim L did. Indeed, we are so priviledged. Out of curiosity, I just searched to see if the book of Daniel is available for purchase. Yes, a 3-hour video, and it works out at 15 minutes per chapter. Wouldn't it be great to make these available as a bundle? I encourage the readers to rewatch these again. The same goes for Tim L past preaching, eg Revelation , Lamentation, etc I wonder if anyone has more comments in support? Finally, I cannot remember everything that was said, hence it is so beneficial to watch it again. Finally, a big 'Thank You' to Tim, yeah, to both Tim's.

3.5 years =1260 days= 42 months (1 yr=360 days on a soli/lunar calendar) Daniel, Numbers, and Ezekiel show us that one prophetic day is a year. This was 1260 years. It is important to realize the history here. Emperor Justinian made the Roman Catholic Church the continuance of the Roman Empire, Daniel’s 4th kingdom. In 529 AD with the Code of Justinian it declared “We order all those who follow this law to assume the name of Catholic Christians”. Three and a half times later (1260 years) in 1789 the French Revolution begins ending Justinian law and destroying the temporal power of the Roman Catholic Church and executing its leaders. In 533 AD Emperor Justinian recognized the bishop of Rome as the head of all Churches establishing papal power. 1260 years later in 1793 papal power was removed when France declared the abolition of all religion. In 538 AD Rome was taken by force by Belisarius which fully enabled Justinian law. 1260 years later in 1798 Rome was taken by force and the pope was imprisoned, and Rome declared a republic. Some Christian teachers lose track of Daniel’s fourth kingdom, prophetic Rome, in 476 AD when WESTERN Rome was conquered. But the Capital of Rome had been moved to Constantinople in 330 AD. Just as the papacy had the starts and ends of its power separated by 1260 years, so Islam is separated by 1290 years. In 632 AD Islam started warring against Christendom. 1290 years later in 1922 the Ottoman Empire ends as Turkey’s sultan abdicates. In 634 AD Caliph Omar conquered Jerusalem and the Caliphate is established. 1290 years later in 1924 the Caliphate is abolished. But the event that enabled these two events is even more important. WWI, the Great War, as it was known, had the final great cavalry battle of History led by General Allenby, a brilliant general and devout Christian. That battle was widely discussed at the time because it was the Battle of Armageddon (Megiddo). This led to the liberation of Jerusalem by a Christian from 2520 years (seven times) under pagan rule (604 B.C. Jerusalem taken captive to 1917). Not only did 1917 fulfill the 2500 years of punishment, but 1917 in the year 1335 on the Muslim calendar.

You contradict yourself. You say in ways Rome is still continued, but then you say it is future. The model of Daniel was clear. Each kingdom marked the end of another. The temporal Roman Empire gave its power to the papacy by decree through emperors Justinian and Phocas. Yet, the temporal emperors still continued on through 1453 when they were conquered by the four sons of Malek Shah as described in Revelation 9 after the 391 year wait (1062 to 1453) described in 9:15. But very importantly, when the Muslims of the Ottoman empire conquered Constantinople, the Eastern Orthodox Church decreed the power of Rome to the Muslim Caliphate. The Muslims then claimed to be Roman emperors. The Western Church would not recognize it, and retained their power. So now you have the Roman empire moving forward to our age with to antichrist religious entities holding it's power. Rome did not end 476 AD, nor 1453 AD.

The 3 horns that fell were the Heruli, Ostrogoths & Lombards which ruled successively in Italy but was replaced in authority by the papacy. The papacy spake great things making himself equal with God, requiring idolatry, restricting God's word from the people and requiring his followers to cross themselves, and on Ash wednesday to put that mark in their foreheads. If they did not, they were excommunicated and sometimes tortured and killed. The papacy IS the antichrist, and it was past, not future.

Beasts in chapter 7 is a continuation of, expansion and confirmation of Daniel 4. King Nebuchadnezzar represented Babylon, and Babylon represented the entire succession of empires. Nebuchadnezzar was given a beast's heart for SEVEN TIMES, just as this succession of empires was given seven times. 7 Times Israel is told she will be punished *seven times* for her sins: Leviticus 26:18 ‘If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. You might argue that the seven times there is not prophetic time periods, but that is not our only clue. Gen 33:3 Jacob bowed to his brother *seven times* But very importantly Nebuchadnezzar, as king, represented Babylon. He was to have a beast’s heart for *seven times*. Daniel 4:16 Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let *seven times* pass over him. So Babylon was to be like a beast for *seven times* . Israel was to be punished *seven times*. The beast kingdoms in Daniel and Revelation were to rule over Israel. If 3.5 times is 1260 years then 7 times is 2520 years. Finally, God, through Daniel, gives us another important witness in Daniel 5 25-27 "25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. 26This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. 27TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting." This was a message to the king of the end of his kingdom, but we know that in Daniel the king is used interchangeably with the kingdom, and we know Babylon was representative of the whole succession of beast empires. Now look more closely. Mene, Mene, tekel, upharsin were all coins. The shekel was the basic babylonian unit of weight and was equal to 20 gerahs. Gerah was the lowest common denominator. While a sacred mene (or mina) was 60 shekels, the profane mina was 50 shekels and eventually only 50 was in use. What does that mean? Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin in Shekel 50 50 1 25 in Gerah 1000 1000 20 500 =2520 That is our seven times. So God, when he was specifying the end of Babylon and "numbered" it, he once again specified seven times. Well, when did the punishment begin? Southern Kingdom Punishment 604 B.C. Babylon takes Jehoiakim captive and puts Jerusalem under tribute 2520 years later (7 times) 1917 General Allenby frees Jerusalem and Balfour declaration oks homeland 597 B.C. Nebuchadnezzar conquers Jerusalem 2520 years later (7 times) 1924 Caliphate is abolished which had been ruling over Jerusalem Northern Kingdom Punishment 745 B.C. Tiglath-Pileser King of Assyria Takes first captives of House of Israel 2520 years later (7 times) 1776 descendants declare independence and one Nation under God.
