So, I just realized, Daves part and the bands performance were filmed separately. Hence, Daves joke about them being ready at the beginning and their quick departure at the end. Plus, Dave would usually goes over and shake the musical guests hands and then close out the show in front of them.
the camera work for the last chorus is excellent. i love how the three singers are framed. just fantastic.
I laugh because I have been in that studio...It is a sardine can...And I know his vox and those Suhr n Marshalls are breaking lights...And THEY MAKE LOUD ask for a break. Hence his in ear turn down prior.

Such a shame that being an amazingly talented band making challenging music is basically a recipe for a very brief taste of almost fame, but never being profitable to continue. At least we got 4 phenomenal full lengths and a couple killer EP’s.
At least Daniel is still killing it on his new tour. Would have hoped that he would be with Christopher Bear on tour too tho!

Cornell gets the kudos for his voice and for writing most of the 'hits', but all 4 guys wrote stuff, and imagining Soundgarden without Shephard's sludgey bass, Thayil's crazy leads and... well Matt Cameron is a favourite drummer of mine... yeah it wouldn't be Soundgarden.
His arm weighed a ton when I got a pic with him like ten years bk lol .
