Can you change the font size on the machine, or is it just one size only?

If anyone still cares about making fonts bigger, i juat rb across this video as well. But you can increas the size, i think, by chosing the leaf category button, and chosing 99, which should bring up the cute aligator sitch and you use the plus and minus buttons to change the chacter size/space between charcters, you can chose up to 9.

Have created any texts since this video for your projects? It would be lovely to see them. I am wondering if the stitches will look nice on clothing as well and are you then able to cut the threads between the letters when you wash your project?

I notice that you do not use the pedal and you don't touch the fabric as it feeds through.. I worry that it won't stay in line, am I wasting my worries? Also, it says in the instructions that each letter anchors before moving to the next letter so you can trim between but I've found the thread in the letters coming out...Any suggestions?

How does it stitch though? I've been trying to stitch a name and it seems to do all the letters in the same spot.

I have been sewing since I was 9 yrs old but never used a brother or any sewing this sophisticated before and I am now 73. This old dog is having to learn new tricks. I am sewing for my nieces and nephew. I am glad to be retired and able to do things I enjoy. But learning to use my new Brother machine is easier with the educational videos. So i have a slightly different machine, one with less options. But its flashing ES when i try to start the machine with letters saved. What the heck does that mean?
