My name is Jake Mundt. I am a skier, climber and mountaineer. My friends and I travel the Rocky Mountains in search of fun and exciting mountain objectives. We like to go fast and be safe, and we're probably having more fun than you!

Have you (or anyone reading this) also tried Capitol Peak (14,130') in Colorado and can you make a comparison with Pilot?
This reminds me…I need to start a bluegrass band called Choss Pile
Great Day! Full Value Day!
Amazing and inspiring! What kind of training did you do that allowed you to day trip this? The approach up the e ledges is an epic on its own for me. Would love to know, thanks for sharing!
Awesome route! For a real challenge, try this but only eat other people’s food!
Never seen the stoke level reach these heights. Great video, the haircut was a disappointment
Hey Jake - Mike Murray sr. I’ve been recently looking into the WRHR. I did 2, 4 days trips this summer. First was Teton Crest Trail and second 4 day solo in YNP, up the snake to heart river, lake and out. . . This was as much about fishing. Anyways, both trips I was surprised how I felt physically and mentally and my desire to keep going. I don’t have 20 mile days & big vert like your doing, but would love to pick your brain on putting together a portion of this route for next summer. Hope to see you up in CC this winter & talk WRHR ✌️
sick boys. gotta keep that hand on the brake tho lmao.
Wow, guys! Nice job. Impressive. Long day. The March to Hell. I know it well. Had you done those peaks before? Never saw you pull out the guidebook? Congrats.
Thanks! I had just done pingora and wolfs head before which helped a lot
HAHA did something magical happen at 14,000'? Thanks for the video, this was a walk down memory lane!
New music, nice!!
I grew up in Jackson and I am so over some of the permit bullshit. Makes doing these short notice off day trips so annoying having to drive up and hope the boy scouts or commercial groups didn't take everything. Some of the permit rangers are cool and will let you use some of the lesser known spots to camp on a "if you know of it you can use it kinda basis".
Never did get there guys! Devils Tower, Rainier and Yosemite for me. Now 1 rope length from the Atlantic! THNX 4 sharing the experience! Miss the Mnt views!
i live in wyoming and many people underestimate its beauty. glad you got to experience the tetons up close and personal
I empathize with Grant’s vom, always feel better after that
Nice vom shot!
Longs Peak is an AWESOME CLIMB! I first did the route in 1980.
The Birth Canal!
This is why you ski it in March .. skis car to car :):):):):)
Worst camera work I have seen in a while.
Nice…big day, how far?
Home sweet home. The eternal moment of being in the mountains.
You guys are the real mediocre amateurs.
Im hiking adams this friday is there still plenty of snow for the line you took you think? I wanna ski down but idk which face or line to take
Thanks for doing this without the GoPro helmet cameras! They drive me utterly nuts! Really nice climbing; I did this for my first time in the summer of 1980 with Bob Culp, and the second time with my GF in 1982.
Have been there quite recently. When did you climb it? Thought it would be good to go a lot earlier
This was May 18
@@rockymountain_stickbug thanks!
