Issue is with the cable that connects PS VR to the processor. I just wiggled it a bit, and then it worked normally. Bare in mind those who bought it when it came out, the wires have been working for more than 8 years, so it's not super out of the ordinary that some wires stop working, or get weird.

Hello, I have a problem with my PS VR, when I turn on the game, the image on the TV disappears and the audio is lost, I only have the image on my glasses, I'm Brazilian, there's no one here to fix it

FYI. There was not anything wrong with the VR unit as it pertained to the error. You had commented on how the switching of the cords was not the solution. Guess what? Switching the PS4 cord solved the issue. So, all of the returns and misinformation resulted in the solution being that the direction of the Play Station VR models were incorrect. The directions indicated incorrect cord connections.

i was just playing games on it but the thing is i had my ps vr not connected properly to my tv as i moved house and i’ve tried to connect it the first time but it didn’t work and i’ve tried today like fully and now my tv says no signal and so does my vr, what do i do?

If switching the HDMI cables didn't fix your problem, please read below: The long and short of it is to check that the PS4 HDMI terminal is not damaged in anyway whatsoever. You may need to push some bent pins back into their correct position. I spent a lot of time following the "switch the cable" or "get a cable upgrade" advice, but it was a misaligned HDMI pin which was the source of the problem.....all fixed now! This is an incredibly frustrating problem. Long story short, I was literally just playing my PSVR a week or so ago, no problems, everything is fine. Disconnected my PS4 to play at a friends house (without the processing unit and PSVR), still working fine. Iron Man VR had an update, perhaps PSVR also had an update. Next day I hook up my PS4 to the processing unit, same as always, and now HDMI signal is not going through to the processing unit, nor to my TV. The PSVR headset also has that no HDMI symbol on. Here is the funny thing, the PS4 works perfectly fine. Connected straight to the TV and without the processing unit it is fine. As well, the processing unit does boot up with the PS4, and has a solid white light. I even tested my processing unit with my friend's PS4 and he had no problems, my processing unit worked fine! Here is the crazy thing. When I hooked up my PS4 to my friend's processing unit, it didn't pass HDMI through! So basically through testing, I found that my PS4 can transmit when connected directly to my TV. And my processing unit worked with my friend's PS4 and my TV. However, my PS4 won't pass through any processing unit! Neither my unit, nor my friend's! I just reset my PS4 to factory settings, and that didn't change a thing. So far PS4 support has been non-helpful. Anyone ever experience this crazy odd problem? I wish I could reset the PSVR firmware on my PS4 itself, but not sure there is a way to do that. I would like to potentially find an old PS4 Update file, and initialize my PS4 to an old update file, but not sure where to find those. Ideally a time pre PSVR. I feel either Sony's new PS4 firmware, or the PSVR firmware or even the Iron Man VR update are to blame. The problem seems to be in my PS4's ability to transmit signal to any PSVR processing unit. Thoughts?

It's absolutely disappointing to me how bad PSVR is most times.

How I did mine was the hdmi that was supposed to be connected to the tv was connected to ps4 and the one who needed to be on the ps4 was on the TV and I just switched and it worked

I just unhooked everything after initially hooking it up and hooked it back up again, then it worked fine

Changed our HDMI cables twice with the best ones we could find and still hasn’t fixed this problem
