Yes, after much consideration I have finally done a big chop and parted ways with inches of natural hair! Some of it had serious heat damage so it had to go.
This is a vlog of my experience with the amazing Michelle Sultan at Hype Coiffure salon, courtesy of Imbue Curls. Michelle made it a wonderful time and we were really kekeing the WHOLE way through!
My edges were extra stressed after braids, and we discovered a random bald patch! I will be focussing on rejuvenating my scalp, as I no longer have length to maintain!

I feel like the twisting one is better if u use a gel afterwards. Because the twisting one gives u moisture while the gel gives definition.
*I've tried the Almond Jai, and Aloe Butter and currently trying the Curlaide* This is my experience so far; 1. *Texture* {Richness/Creaminess}: Curlaide is the thickest; Almond Jai is the creamiest while Aloe Butter is the best of both world 2. *Hold* : Curlaide is number one while Aloe and Almond come far second. 3. *Smell* : Curlaide and Aloe have a similar smell which fades off pleasantly without leaving a distasteful smell behind while Almond Jai smells like rancid oil immediately after it mixes with the sebum of the hair. 4. *Ingredients* : Curlaide is superior to the rest. You'll find heavy-duty butter, oils, and conditioning ingredients in the first five, and the ingredients in Aloe Butter and Almond Jai are present in Curlaide. 5. *Weather* : Curlaide is very good for weather from 15°C downwards. Aloe Butter and Almond Jai are perfect for weather from 15°C and above.

Almond Jai is just to moisture for twists the aloe vera and curlaid are stylers..
the aloe gel became my fave styler overall
However, Aloe Butter can still be used as a leave-in moisturiser. It was stated on their website.
