I kind of feel that setting that work well during the day make night look worse and vice versa. At night time, especially with a full moon shining, my eyes can adjust and I can make out features but in msfs, everything is still pitch black.

It definitely improves the visuals but we're a month and a half from msfs 2024... Not worth it now, at least for me

Is this using Rex atmos with live weather? Does Rex atmos overwrite the nerfed default live MSFS weather which currently removes and minimises rain and rain effects?
Correct, atmos with live weather. It does not overwrite the weather but enhances it visually. You can add or remove haze, rayleigh scattering, etc.
The rain and rain effects will stay as is
@@AirborneGeek then if you say rain will be default that means little or no rain will be available on Rex Atmos too as the default live weather has nerfed rain to become almost nonexistent unlike during launch version of MSFS. Now i see no point for Rex Atmos.

To me it doesn't look any different to standard. And what is happening at timestamp 1:00 min with the sky being seen on the underside of your wing?
Standard is too yellow/orangish I think...it seems like that is a reflection of some clouds but no idea how I see them on the underside haha.. good catch!

@@mammid9622 It looks bad with the mod. My standard version does not have sky reflections on the underside of the wings.

Thanks for going over the settings it helped a lot I’m running a i7 14700k with a 4070 super and i copied all your settings and I’m getting 60 to 80 fps in the ground and around 100 to 120 fps in the air thank you.

@@stevengilbert5114 oh ok, it’s just because I’ve got the same gpu and CPU as you but my performance isn’t as good, I don’t know if there’s something wrong with my CPU as intel have had issues with the 14700k

hello! i recently upgraded to this cpu and i use same settings as ur's but i difference is my graphics card is 3080, however, this game i believe is cpu intended. and I found out that the clock speed never exceed 5 ghz, temps like 50 degress, so did u tune something at bios or just leave it default THX!
I left it at default. Every chip is different and mine hits about 5.1 ghz. I have just upgraded the bios to the latest version though so make sure you do that

AMD also has the adrenaline software which has some of these settings to take away the warm look
