Funny thing is they always tell you to stay away from the inching pedal (clutch/brake) in forklift training. Bad teaching because it reinforces poor skill rather than safe and efficient use. Glad to see you're not shy of using the inch pedal. Your vids are awesome mate, cheers from NZ

I am glad you enjoy them ! Unfortunately I do not work there anymore. I still have some more footage to edit and put on the channel but just haven't had the time. I work in a gold mine now and working on bringing work footage from there driving trucks and all!

Yeah! They are always looking for people. I would recommend going inside the markets and talking to people rather than applying online!

Its not very hard. When you use the forklift regularly, you will get used to it. I sometimes move pallets around in our warehouse just for exercise purposes because we only use our forklift once every while. I dont even have a license for a regular car yet can perfectly fine drive a forklift ;-)

Just remember to toot your horn around corners and blind spots. That pallet jack guy could've ran right into you, and boom you're fired! On the other hand, I wish I could smoke a cigar on the job ;P

I've bee driving lifts for 43 years, and also been an instructor. The one thing i would warn you about (although we ALL do it 🙂) is driving forwards when you can't see over the load. Bad things happen :) Good to see a competent forklift driver working efficiently with no time wasted.
Yes absolutely! I have even warned people not to do it while i was doing it in one of the earlier videos! It's dangerous! I can give you plenty of excuses why i do it but it still is dangerous and anything can happen!
What's the average forklift drivers get paid? Is it 25? In ct i make 18 and i need something that pays 23 the least
it pays around 30 to 35$ pr hour.
I drove a forklift for 3 years when I was young. Got very skilled at precision moving and lifting at heights. Brings back memories 😃

Is it an electric forklift? Does it stop without taking your foot off the accelerator and applying the brakes, unlike diesel?
This one i am using is LPG gas! But yes electric ones do have regenerative breaking!

@@금목서-t4r Just over a year now mate! But i have experience in operating heavy machinery, driving trucks and motorcycles and all sorts of stuff since i was 12. I am 30 now.
What are youre working times?? And how do you know what to places were and what you have to do?
@@ar-gp8fi i work from 4am to 11am so it’s early morning work! Each order we has dockets placed on them which tells the drivers locations and buyers codes. But i know all by memory after being here for a little over a year!
