(Fixed 2024/10/25) DSVania Editor Bug - armips patch "inter-area_warps" (Portrait of Ruin)
(After applied the current version of armips patch "inter-area_warps" - as of rev. 1.12.0) If check the warp point while the upper screen is displaying information of Jonathan/Charlotte instead of mini map, then press "L" or "R" to move on a different page of map, retreat from destination selection, and quickly check the warp point again, the game will let you have access to some unintended warp spots for some reason, when choose the unintended spots character will move to spaces you did not really want character to go to. Flip the pages again will cause the warp destination coordinate to auto correct itself.

EDIT: The bug had been fixed in the 2024/10/25 commit but to fix it in pre-existed mod projects is no easy task.
If somebody already utilized the initial version of inter area warp patch in hacks and want to remove this bug, they must either find a backup of the hack without inter area warp being applied, then apply the new version of inter area warp patch. If there's no such backup they must re-compile the hack they made from zero and apply the new inter area warp patch or the fix will not be intact in mods.

Despite it's a freeware fan game delisted years ago, the speedrun scene is recently being active again thanks to the reworked edition of the game. So attempted a return to the scene. Almost ruined at the second to last stage but the run is saved by air hovers. Really fun having the chance to challenge the game again after its reworking! Hi, how are you?? ^^ I'm back from trying myself "Lecarde 2: Ring Of Fury" and "COTW: Demo"!!!!! And it's quite the amazing feeling I supposed I'd have by playing 'em!!! Amazing work of Migami team!!!!! My first Migami games yet!!! ^^ Must be honest: on Ring Of Fury I haven't passed by the Hunchback trio, but it's been delightfully painful, but I'm okay!!!! Haha Although, the reason I'm commenting again is that my notebook - please, keep it mind I'm far from being a pro gamer, I'm quite a Noob actually - doesn't seem to properly save the COTW gameplays after I finished them. Well, at least it does, APPARENTLY. For I try to continue from last Save Point (I haven't entered the Taxidermy Gallery yet), but my keyboard stops responding to the game on the very Save Point scene. Do you know if it's a bug properly of the Demo, or is it my system? Could you tell me, please?? Have bought all the items in the shop on my last gameplay, and also have upgraded up my Health to 80 points 😅 - just wanted to explore new features still unknown of this Demo, so I grinded a little bit in the forest and achieved this, which I'm feeling very proud of!!! So, it'd be nice if I could continue my "conquest" from that point! Very nice!!!! Haha ^^ So do you know of something about it maybe? I took one screenshot on Steam of it and I don't know if I could make it further!! 😅 It's no big deal, although, really. I can do it all from the scratch, if it's necessary. I just wonder... Oh, and I've also bought the Northern Gévaudan map - it's just a small spoiler, isn't it?? I don't suppose the areas shown on it could be explorable yet, or could they? Thank you for your time!!!!! 🙏
Never heard of the issue. Maybe it's your antivirus/firewall coaxed with how the game reads from your computer. Modern antivirus/firewall mechanic did not do justice to games built with the Clickteam fusion engine. If you let the whatever antivirus/firewall trust the game there shouldn't be anything affects your gameplay. Also keep in mind that the game will come to most of consoles if you can't get over the PC shenanigans the console version will be your choice.

So you worked with them for translations???? How much fun is that??? Pretty cool!!!!! I have so much faith in Mig's capabilities of creation that I'm eager to have a look in the final product!!!!! So am I to Jeffrey's, too, of course!!!!! The moving rib bones of Cursed Bones were also just (re-)perceived by me on this very walkthrough play. P.S.: Finally, I'm not sure it's that-common in games but I noticed the closer hits given with the Long Sword seem to really take more damage than just one with the end of its blade!!!!! That's a real pro treatment for the details by Migami team!!!!! Lovely!!!!! 😍 🌹 🖤
Thanks! One thing I'm allowed to spoil to the public is the contents demonstrated in the demo did not represent the final quality of the game anymore - A plenty of visual and gameplay enhancements had been applied to the game since then. It's a pain having to wait for that long but when the finalized thing drops to public it will definitely worth it!

Unexpectedly, the simple scenes turned into horror when Ame ate the Magic Paper. Somehow, it could accurately describe that. Ame felt the player's real world through the illusion of the Magic Paper, just like a meth 😢
cool run. I was playing this one day and @1:01:45 i started getting hits from air. Same thing with next spike ball. Couldn't proceed further. Have you ever experienced that bug and is there solution
got past it by just restarting the game after bug happened and usually first attempt didn't bug, but happened after death
@@Sumppa It's been years and a lot of things had changed! I had retrieved the source documents of the game from MIG and managed to get it modernized. Check the reworked edition of the game, which this issue (should be) fully busted in the version: github.com/Aceearly1993/lecarde-1/releases

While I love this game, I always dread having to play this part of the level thanks to the awkward vertical scrolling of the camera. All I can say as a tip is: after taking care of the angel statues, go as further up as you can and to the right edge.

The song is indeed unusual. For some reason it's giving me "Ancient Rome / Greece", "gladiator arena" vibes.

Imagine if ALL spikes are instant kill that even ignore all kinds of invincibility, banning damage boosts and invincivility spell exploits. Just like those red lasers in final stage.

These were the creepiest parts of the game to my friends and I. They give this overwhelming sense of being watched, like the camera will round the corner and one of us will be in the video. The one at the arcade especially freaked us out

Very cool. I remember when I discovered the Mig's photo easter egg in Lecarde 2. I love both Lecarde 1 & 2. I wish a Android port someday.
because the game strictly demanding both direct x 9 and direct x 11 mode for different font styles, and personally not very fond of touchpad control and related stuff, it's not realistic to be in android in 10 years. Not in the scope of plans of rework team at least.
