It's easier to take a great photo during the day. But, if you want it to be a night photo, we can make that happen in Photoshop. With blending modes, masks, and a little knowledge of how light works, there's no stopping you.

In this, the first of several, we will look at how to take any photo and make changes to the content and then change the look of the photo. A great way to create a background image or 'clean plate' for a film or title sequence.

We look at a variety of techniques to remove an item from an image. From easy to more complex. Stick it out to the end for a real challenge.

After a minute or two of explanations and defining terms, I will get your well on your way to drawing whatever you want to in Adobe Illustrator. Don't be afraid of Vectors. Number one rule: STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT PHOTOSHOP!!!

Much of 'photoshopping' is combining images. We will take an element from one image and put it into another image, make some corrections, and create something new! We start easy and then try one more complex.

Remember I told you that you only have so many 'clicks' and then you die? This new (as of 5/24) tool will SAVE YOUR LIFE. Add adjustment layers with a click and simply brush on and off your changes. Truly amazing!
