I had a 4 clylinder one years ago very good condition EX forestry commition £ 650 ,wish I had kept it .

It seems that the American front axle was an option, or so i was told. I have a B450 also in original condition like yours, would love to have a super BMD

That diesel engine sounds well, I have a 1940 Farmall H tractor with the twin V tricycle configuration front axle. I also have a Minneapolis Moline ZTU tractor just like yours, my grandfather bought it new in 1941. I'd like to start working on getting it going later this summer after I've finished a couple of other tractors I'm working on at the moment. Hi very good video. Im at one at the minute. The valves in the inlet ports that let the over fueled fuel leak out arnt one way valves are they i thought that they should be but the let air pass both ways . Where would you advise to get the vapouriser jet and the needle and seat ect . Thanks Wayne

The Ferguson system as implemented on the Ferguson T-20 and the Ford N9 and later models really are the tractors that drove horses off the farm. A successful farmer could afford one and the basic implements to go with it, and show a positive return on that investment in a single season. The drive train was little different than what the car in your driveway had, so if you could maintain one you could maintain the other. My Grand father bought six of Ford's 9Ns before WW II, one for each of his sons and hired hands.

Great video. I am at the moment trying to get a Standard Fordson to run at the moment. New needle/seat and carburettor gasket. It just wants to flood after a couple of clicks on the starting handle.🥵

Old, 3 point had two postions, digital, up or down. Served well for read blade 1/4 mile snow clearing.

TE10, TE20 TO10, To20 1945 - 1947 maybe. Experienced 3-point shaft oil leak. When to Mt. Hope parts, had in felt part in stock. about 2000. TE20.

Great to see this tractor running, I live in Scarisbrick, I have one, a 1941 model, identical to it, but with the power lift fitted on the back. It's unrestored and not run since 1975, but the engine still turns over. My grandad bought it new in WW2. Have you still got this tractor?

I've just discovered your channel Carl, I only live 3 or 4 miles from you. I enjoyed this video, I've seen this tractor with your restored farm trailer at Les's museum, I was there with a Massey 135 tractor. Do you still have your MM and Farmall H tractors? I have a 1941 MM ZTU that my grandad bought brand new, I also have a 1940 Farmall H that was my dads cousin's 1st tractor.

Did you make your own spindles and axles for the front axle? I've thought about building wide front axles for several of my tractors , but haven't because of not sure about making the spindles that would hold up. Recently I bought a big Massey Ferguson whole power steering front axle to under my M Farmall. It is supper tight and with the power steering unit built into the axle itself it was a no brainier. But I would like to build my own on smaller tractors , if you could explain how you done it. Like what alloy of steel you used and so forth.

So does England use inch measurements???? I heard you mention.005 thousandths of an inch clearance. Also I had no idea that Allis Chalmers made a factory Perkins diesel B.

What clutch did you use?

Friends father has a Fiat 75hp, 26 inch track crawler. He passed away so althouh it runs it may end up being scrapped. Seems a shame.

Nice machine. I am looking for an engine rebuild kit for a Perkins L4 engine. Any suggestions?

Many years ago using a four cylinder Fordson County Crawler with a 6 foot wide trailer rotary hoe on the foothills of the Pennines clearing win bushes and scrub. The extra two cylinders would have been a vast improvement from running in 2nd gear with a motor governor full open most of the time and stream of smoke that would make steam engine jealous.
