Did you build an lcd screen? How?
i just bought one
dope
great work! follow up video please.
dude get a fume extractor please
i'm confused, are you creating an analog re make of the juno or did you just re-create it in a software synth inside of something called teensy?
great work damn sell the kits please!
bro you are amazing. Start making synths and let me buy them please
God i'd fucking love to do this, I absolutely must know HOW. This is the coolest thing i've ever seen. Do you have any tips for beginners who wanna do this and get into it as a whole?
dope!! subscribed
(im so excited for whats to come keep going bro!!)
This is amazing!
theres literally a tiny microcontroller that has free software that lets you write code {that emulates audio circuits?) using flowcharts, from an audio library? I feel like you're in the future, or I've been living under a rock. wow
Excellent video. Only just found it and I really like it.

capacitor is better for debuncing
This has allowed me the power to understand 3 different perspectives on an issue. Thank you for the educational content with a political twist, as usual, "Edward Wang"!

Did you consider interrupts instead of polling routines for your control inputs?
This is really cool man. I love electronics, music and diy, and ive built a few little hardware based CVOs, amps, envelope generators, but i have dozens of arduinos and parts, and i have a few ideas from this. Thanks for sharing.
Bro , would you like to team up and create something exciting?
You are awesome. Go go go
Great that you persevered and taught yourself. With that dedication to learn and do without giving, you can do anything.
People are ridiculous to believe a Juno 106 is worth $2k… or $1k
Looks like a great project, not sure why you are calling it a Juno 106 though!
2 years onward; are there error free pcb's for sale?
nah but i'm working on something cooler
I'm assuming multitimbrality would be difficult to implement, but how hard would it be to implement optional phase inversion for each of the wave forms? I'm thinking something similar-ish to Pearlman Oscillators in functionality would be very cool on the Juno.
very insightful!
Ok so how much to buy engineering
it's emulation ,its not synthisis .if you put on head phones u can hear the code running faintly with the volume down
if u could make £2000 synths for £100 why hasn't roland asked you to take over their manufacturers site
click bait
a refurbished 4th gen i3 laptop £80 keyrig 49 midi from a second hand store £40 there are 00s of free vsts on google I'm sure there's at least 20 106 plugin vets that are free to download
we're is the 106......is that what £2000 gets you
was really under the impression you was going to make a genuine 106 ........its not impossible to get those components yet I bet u can get the schematics...if it was hard ware and not software then it might be a £2000 ebay sales
I bet u can't get £1000 for it so how is it a £2000 synth when u constructed it from controller software
arduino and the components makes an emulated version.....its no analogue circuit.its all software with an arduono u can change the software on the pi to a jdxi or a system 1
In 2020, Cherry Audio released the DCO-106 plugin, a juiced up version of the Juno-106 which was priced at $39 USD in 2020.[27][28
hi. this is cool, but doesnt sound like a juno. i only checked out the end of the video and played the soundcloud track, so maybe i missed something - are you intentionally distorting things?
can you play this live?
Couldn’t you just add a decoupling capacitator after your buttons to reduce the ripple? Would have saved some instructions on the microcontroller.
Thanks for sharing
Simply brilliant!
Thank you for your support ❤️
So far today I learned that 8 Republican senators sent a letter to the ICC threatening to invade if they issue arrest warrants for top Israeli officials and a small channel I subscribe to has this hilarious video.
When you find yourself 5 inches away from the project, get a third hand and ring light magnification. I have horrible eyesight (the result of a few mini strokes) harbor freight has the best cost and quality on both these items, hatbox Freight is not even close to the cheap tool place they used to be! Their tools are still reasonless priced but you can outfit a very swell equipped and lighted work space for the fraction of the cost ii always get the extra insurance, this is where they really shine! By the time your done half the price and Everything you need fairly stylishly, thro a few leds on it for the heck of it it! Peace!
Insanely cool project! I hope to eventually build something like that someday, though probably 10% of the complexity of this project. Impressive how far you got starting kind of from zero.
Asians
Quick tip: whyyyyyyyy would you use code to debounce? Just a few capacitors solve the problem reliably, permanently, and without adding code to the processing load.
I don't like the way the guy does things
Sell it for us!
Ya the asian bro i always wanted :D
