The drum tones you’ve got here are sounding awesome! I’m loving those toms. Only thing is that ride cymbal. When you start going on it, I can only ever hear it bleeding through the kick or snare mics. You may want to have that overhead closer to the ride or have them set up a dedicated ride mic. Just my two cents.
Yeah I’ve noticed that too. I want to try to follow the rule of oh mics equal around the snare. But the limited space makes that hard. Also that might not solve that issue haha. Thank you!

The church’s. We purchased it as a prison kit but decided to use it in Holly. Beautiful kit. We just started mixing them through waves and they sound great

@Jellybean199611 it is being used as a prison kit at the moment. Not all locations have drums so they are trying to figure that out. I took the Mapex kit to camp for Ms and kids!
