I am a complete NEWBIE when it comes to MTG. Come watch as I unbox a Starter Deck!
Currently building a Ziatora deck myself, and I hope someday I get to swap life totals with someone using Profane Transfusion, and then fling the huge token at them for the kill! I noticed you don't have much protection for Ziatora in here... you should consider some cards like Supernatural Stamina, Feign Death, or Malakir Rebirth (more expensive) which can not only protect her but give you a chance at another fling or ETB with another creature. Rushed Rebirth fills a similar role, but wouldn't really keep Ziatora around if she's getting focused. I like that you have some threaten effects like Furance Reigns, that looks fun!

Definitely agree. She is a queen and therefore needs protection. Any of the black instants like Feign Death are great. I like Imps Mischief and Bolt Bend in this deck as well. She is one of my favourite decks and I really enjoyed this deck tech!

@@Sami-rw8cs Thank you so much and of course! Yea protection is definitely needed, but I think playing a busted commander calls for lack of protection so the group has a chance!
@@xKAEJAYx maybe I am just really mean haha! My playgroup run a lot of interaction and I need some kind of protection in all of my decks if I hope to get the gameplan going ☺️
She's been pretty wild with the addition of Coram. Being able to fling large into the graveyard just to power up Coram and get free lands from milling is FUN.
I swapped my Warstorm Surge out for Sarhkan’s Unsealing. It’s a 4 mana enchantment instead of 6, it does 4 targeted damage when we cast a creature with power 4, 5, or 6. If you cast a creature with power 7 or greater (most of our deck) it deals 4 damage to each opponent and each creature and planeswalker they they control. It’s been amazing in my games so far.

is sarhkans's one of the worst cards in the list? I'm curious which other cards would be first to go to make room for upgrades, if you have some ideas. other than lands :)

Ziatora is one of my favorite decks. Need the red dominus, doubles the fling power.
Solphim is DEFINITELY a must have here, just a bit over budget! Even the green dominus was a hard bargain for me! lol I'm glad you like Ziatora, highkey BUSTED!

Just discovered your channel and I gotta say this is a pretty good budget option for Tergrid. I got most of the budget cards which I use for My Shirei EDH deck. Just know that the CEDH version is the one that would totally make everyone and I mean everyone hesitate to play with you.

And I hate to be that one person... But you realize you CANT USE "Dark Ritual" in Commander. To the best of my knowledge, you can't use Rituals in damn near ANY format.. Legacy Format maybe... but that's about it.
Dark ritual is 100% legal in commander :) Per WOTC themselves gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Printings.aspx?multiverseid=54 Which is why it's in the deck :) Great black ramp!
There are so many other things i would put in here Raven's Crime, Mind Rot, Abyssal Specter, GRAVE PACT, Cabal Executioner, Cruel Edict. Diabolic Edict. There are so many more
There are! And you can feel free to take the decklist from Archidekt, copy it, and make changes as you see fit! The main reason behind a lot of the card choices were fitting budget as well!
what do you think about necropotence?
I enjoy it, although it is pretty costly and it doesn't really support the engine of the deck! The main goal is to play other people's decks, but in a rakdos deck it really goes off!

Immodane should go in here , her effect is non-combat , solophim and immodane on board a lighting bolt deals 6 to a creature and 12 to face
Anything that does non-combat can go in here, all depending on what and how you wanna do :)
With Pyromancer's Gauntlet, Jaya, Torbran and other effects, the affected player (i.e. the one getting hit by the burn spells) gets to choose what order the replacement effects happen So if you got Torbran and your commander out and hit someone with Lightning Bolt you would personally prefer it to do the 3 base, then +2, and then double for a total of 10 damage However the targeted player could (and most likely would) choose to first double and then +2, giving 8 total damage Learned this the hard way when I tapped out for what I thought was lethal with a Fiery Emancipation and Torbran in my Oops All Chandras deck

Bit of a disclaimer: if you use chaos warp on somebody's commander, they can instead put them back in the command zone.
I did happen to forget the updated commander "death" triggers! Still, I love chaos warp ;)

I managed to win a game by playing Repurcussions gollowed immediately by a Blasphemous Act while I didn't have any creatures myself in a different deck With a damage doubler it would be insane

You'd be very surprised that the answer is no. Tergrid can take those sacrifice outlets ;)
geth's grimoire, awaken the erstwhile, smokestack, and the long reach of night are all solid adds to this budget deck

Ran Tergie for a long time, switched her to Rankle and it’s way more fun to just have Tergs living in the 99 and carrying a little reanimator package.
For sure, and that's another viable option for the recursion that I missed out on!
Tergrid is one of my most powerful decks. My list is certainly a lot less budget than yours, but the general idea is pretty similar. It should come with a warning on how much hate it draws though, even your version has a high likeliness of becoming the archenemy.
I completely agree. Tergrid will make you the most hated at the table sadly.. But hey, if you're playing Tergrid, you don't mind being the villain anyway!
