SKY NEWS Interview - Danny Clifford on The Rolling Stones
I was interviewed on Sky News and asked my thoughts on the fact that they have released their first album of 'Original & New Music' in 18 years. Are they too old to rock? Definitely not. I love what they do and are doing. Long may it continue.

I'm a Van Morrison's fan and I'm watching all concerts I found from him and I discovered the 1979 in Ireland and this gentelman is playing the baritone sax and Pat Kyle the tenor sax, I love that concert and the sax was great!

This was a nice interview about Rick, yes he'd over done it and was a fool to himself but was extremely lucky to still be alive. Its just a pity that after a fall which i believe he'd hurt his shoulder that he didn't get sorted quicker as once sepsis had set in because of his age and past illnesses his body couldn't fight the infection hard enough and sadly he died. Really Staus Quo also died that day, i know Francis and Andy Bown are still there but it then just became the Francis Rossi Band which to me would have been more respectful if Francis had changed the name after all people still would have gone to the concerts - maybe have called it Quo2

The two songs I forced myself to listen to, which are supposed to be the best, are rubbish. Insipid, scarcely an identifiable melody, let alone a memorable one, uninteresting chord progressions, solos, arrangements. Best to ignore. Also, useless interview with sycophants who plainly know nothing about music.

It's not about money but fame, they want to seduce new generations, reason why they invited people like Lady Gaga or worth Taylor swift. The new clip is pure marketing and the intro riff is not creative but sound clearly Stones. Only Jagger voice save it for me. I'm disapointed maybe cause i love Stones catalog, now waiting for the album, who knows....

  • @georgeodajungle7082

Yay, the rolling Stones are back making old outdated music again. I wonder how all the people that paid thousands and thousands of dollars to see them one last time in their multiple farewell tours feel about that. The only place they'll be able to play this music on the radio will be on classic rock stations or maybe country but the air headed brainless internet generation don't even know who they are. Whatever dude.

I saw him pull up in his Rolls Royce, jump out and head into a paper shop at Purley Cross in about 1987 or 88. I didn't want to bother him though, despite being a huge fan.
