Took your list to an rcq over the weekend. Ended up losing in the top 8. Was a very fun list.

I liked the Gruel Aggro list run by Keisuke Sato in the Arena Championship, feels like it addresses the issue with the regular mono red and Boros Auras or burn lists. The extra fuel provided by Questing Druid is nice while giving the impression you can mulligan more aggressively.

Just out of curiosity, what was the thought process on that last play using the shardmage's rescue instead of the second monstrous rage? Obviously seeing both perspectives makes it obvious, but I'm wondering if there was something else you were playing around there.

What are your thoughts on Lightning Helix main? Good gameplay/ narration and thank for your sharing your journey. Urabask's Forge is such a great sideboard card. My main is Boros Mid-Range and it got me to Diamond Rank. Keep on playing aggro!! 🍂🍂🍂🍂

It's super interesting how different this deck is from the one I use. Myrel is indeed really slow, especially if you can't find a land, but you also don't have any ramp cards in your deck it seems. I have all of Arcane Signet, Springleaf Drum, Mox Amber, Mind Stone, Coldsteel Heart, Eiganjo and Pearl Medallion in my deck and recently got Myrel out on turn 2, after a big turn 1 of Skrelv, Mox Amber, Springleaf Drum. Is there a reason why you don't play any of the doubling effects like Mondrak and especially Roaming Throne? Don't need to have that many soldiers on board if you play Roaming Throne the turn after Myrel gets on board. I feel the trick to her deck is having lots of protection, getting her out fast (with protection if available) and swing with multipliers. Swiftfoot boots are really useful and give hexproof and Lorien Brooch with their landwalk, so you don't have to get indestructible every turn. There should be about no turns where you can't swing with Myrel, because you both have a board. I really feel lots of protection from color, indestructible effects and multipliers with ramp cards are the way to go (with lots of removal of course), since just playing lands and soldiers one after the other is way too slow and it doesn't matter that much if you have two or three soldiers on board beforehand then. Green ramps so fast in Brawl that they put out 5 mana creatures on turn 3 and 7 mana on turn 5 a lot of times, it feels really overwhelming at times.

Yeah it’s too fast for aggro to deal with if you are on the draw.

It that heralds the end is a goated card

When looking at how abilities are spread across the color pie green certainly does a fair amount with creatures but interactions with permanents in the graveyard is a green ability, whereas black tends to purely interact with creatures in the graveyard. Mechanics aside when I think about the idea of a woodland shifting into hallucinatory terrain in a state of delirium enchantments and lands make much more sense than creatures. With that being said yeah that card interaction is busted lol.

I'm about to build and try an azorius enchanted aggro deck to see how well I can draw good hands. I don't think that I can rock all white as the one I'm trying is white and blue so a little easier for a not so good player like myself. Thanks for your videos!

I’ll have to take a look at that! That’s fair. I’m looking at the “combo” as multiple cards causing a strong thing to happen rather than a winning combo.

This is a unique take on Angels! I'd recommend trying Angel of Vitality. Works well in my deck! Also, I got a little confused when you kept on saying "combo pieces." I think the term you're looking for is synergistic pieces. Combo pieces imply you just win the game when they're out.

This deck is even better now that Sorin and Amalia are gone.

I think its "play" because you can't "cast" a land. But yeah the word changes are super annoying. Not a day goes by that I don't contemplate the 'true' difference between mana value and casting cost, not to mention color identity.

Lots of things I love about the intro alone. Clear goal that helps people understand why you're playing this deck and even spread visibility of future events to build awareness and excitement of the game. Outlined not just key cards in the deck, but which specific decks they're meant to help you compete against and what cards they're aimed at. Humble and positive attitude overall. Love this. Man . . . watching you play like this doesn't even look like its fun. I started playing last year and had a lot of fun learning both in Arena and paper but I'm about to the point of giving up on the game before I become anymore invested. Arena to me has some serious issues and I don't have as much time as I'd like to go play in person.
