Saving Vice Talks "Good Days Dead Eyes" & Battling Online Negativity
In today's day and age where the influence online and from social media continues to impact our lives and well being more and more, the large amount of negativity can ruin your passion for the thing that you love the most.
But what is the way to not only get that passion back, but also find a way to not be impacted by that negativity from people online? That answer? We have it with someone who experienced all of this.
Tyler from Saving Vice returns to the Chord Progression Podcast for the first time in 2 years with a new album "Good Days Dead Eyes" out now, and a tour with Fight From Within coming up to close out 2024. So this time around, we talk about:
- How Tyler & the guys lost their passion for music due to a large amount of negativity online, and how that passion was rediscovered.
- Why no longer linking your identity to one aspect of your life or being is good for you to not be impacted by the negativity online.
- The new album "Good Days Dead Eyes" and how it expresses the band's newfound views after experiencing the past 2 years.
Glad to have another band return to the podcast. Be sure to hit that subscribe button because we are catching up with all of our favorite bands once again.

Anak2 VOB memamg cerdas, Cepat menguasai bermusik,😊 Juga cepat mengusai publik Speeking ingglis yg juga modal untuk menguasai panggung Musik dunia.
Yo these guys are carrying the torch of Gothic rock from Rob Zombie and Evanescence. How are they not more popular?
Which member? 😂
They are one of the few bands that doesn’t need to change. They’re one of the greatest bands ever
I'm 75, and there's no question in my mind that these girls are The Best Rock Band on the Planet today. I've seen them all, they may be the best Rock Band Ever. I haven't been this obsessed with a band since 1964. Do I need to tell you which band took over the world back then?
Im seeing them for the third time in march. They get into the crowds. We are so respectful to eachother. For a hot second everyone was connected. 100% recommend seeing live!. Good reaction :)
I am just here to tell you that you are creating very amazing content. Good luck to you. Your TH-cam channel to share with you some important problems that are preventing your channel growth.
Thank goodness they didn’t break up! They are just so damn good and important to metalcore
Great music made by 4 beta bitches. Should have never tossed Booka.
Great reaction
Hell Yeah TheWarning are turning the Rock world on their heads every LP and every song they release. Wonder did you wear and get those butterfly wings signed?😂Keep on Rockin Dany Pau Ale !!🤘🔥⚡
It and extension from So Far Away from them and Scooter from Cold. Awesome!!
That original Nosferatu silent film is so underrated, y’all should both check it out
Super interesting interview, fellas (:
This interview guest reminded me why all the Metal heads used to beat up the goth kids in high-school. Bunch of edgy dorks.
Mommy I wanna be a vampire
So lame
It’s clear you had energy back then and now you’re fat and slow your music perfectly reflects this
Don’t make excuses you did sell out the bigger you got the worst. The music got the smaller your fanbase got and now this is a desperate cash grab not an album
This is a way more simple cringe worthy dumbed down regurgitation of what we are actually capable of and now justare relying on 😢Fanbase being faithful to sell obviously shitty, cliche music 😢 u guys honestly are dog shit the changes suck just don’t
Ima cd 💿 seller and buyer on 2024 and ima keep supporting artist 💿💿💿🖖🖖 cds better sound quality u own the music no internet comes with bonus tracks and it’s yours forever Cheap ass streaming can never compete 😅😅😅 physical media forever 📀📀💿💿💽💽🗜️
Love this man and love skillet

Capital ‘G’ in God 😉
3:14 your reaction to the harmony between the 2 perfectly described my reaction as well that was really really good 😂
No exceptions puts on a fantastic show and if you ever get the chance you should go see them.
Love Maggie! 🌹
let’s go 510❤️❤️❤️
Makhlvk - 200 Tusuk , or Dunia Lain
Good interview. Would be interested to know about the significance, if any, of the Eastern Orthodox imagery used for inTheosis, besides a stylistic choice.
Try listening to the latest song from Bimopd, "janus"
The almost rapping numetal lyric flow towards the end of Target Aquired is one of my favorite moments it's so fucking cool
Just seen them in Cheyenne. Absolutely mesmerizing. Not a lot of live experiences that will stay with me like AKC did.
Thank You🖤
He’s vocalis this band🎉🎉 uncle ical😂😂
Hi bro vob new realase single th-cam.com/video/y-_cN9RZ46w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WQcz7BM_DFyq8QrQ
"This is straight up what you would expect... but in a good way." Exactly what I felt haha. It got me emotional and overwhelmed with nostalgia, but there was like you said, a new reinvigoration, a new life in it. It was exactly what I wanted and needed haha.
With Breaking Benjamin, I don't actually want them to change too much. They've perfected their sound, and you know what to expect with them. Heavier or lighter is okay with me, but they stay true to themselves. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Same is good i dont like change lol
I felt that in my soul Lol 😂 mom here ! BUSTED
Good Review! Awesome song
Really true.. I completely relate and agree with everything this guy is saying.
More react Janus by Bimo P.D plss..!
Everything they don't like/understand is the devil. Lol.
Yeah we're vibin homie
Anytime Ale tries to talk the older sisters jump in and she quiets down.
the album dropped today, its epic.
This album is amazing, one of my favorites this year. Really enjoyed seeing him open for FIR. Wish his headling tour came at all close to my area. Maybe next year!
Fuck yes
Yeah man, "There is beauty in letting go" brought tears to my eyes. I'm nearing 30, just began letting go of mistakes I made in my late teens and early 20's. Forgiving people who've wronged me and apologizing to people I have wronged. Hearing the words "No more holding onto pain, ill break the chains, there is beauty in letting go", sang in the way they were gave me Goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes. Im not the person I was back then and Im not yet the person I want to be, the lyrics sang how they were cut deep. Its not an overly complicated song but its got beauty where it counts and it made me feel something. For me, thats more than enough.
