Many times stood and watched Jim and Jesse from side stage as a little girl. My dad Bill Runkle played banjo with Al Shade early on and then banjo with Del McCoury and the Dixie Pals. I remember J and J as favorites and thought Jim was “dreamy”! Such wonderful memories! Be well Jesse💕

I discovered Charlie Louvin and Jim and Jesse Mcreynolds about 15 years ago, and have been a big fan of them every since then. I especially enjoy Jesse Mcreynolds mandolin style, and I am working on developing my own mandolin style with big influence from Jesse Mcreynolds 😎 Jesse Mcreynolds is pretty awesome!
